Beautiful church for sure. The volunteers are friendly and kind. I was nervous about going to church because I have a toddler who does not like to sit still, but seeing so many children of all ages made it easier for us to start attending more often. We never feel the need to take her outside, and we have never gotten rude looks from other people. Communion and other services run smoothly, there are plenty of seats, and the inside stays nice and cool. This is a modern Catholic church with a live band during weekend services. They also stream every mass online, which is convenient if you happen to miss one. So far, we truly feel welcomed and loved by the community. If modern Catholic churches are not your style, then this may not be for you. But at the end of the day, as long as you have faith, a church is still a church.

Such a beautiful church and beautiful community. My husband and I had our wedding here and the support the church provides throughout the whole process was amazing. Kathleen and Andree were so helpful with getting us prepared for the big day! We still attend mass here on Sundays and its beautiful.

If the Church is this beautiful, imagine Heaven. I was just driving down the road and something told me to look up. When I did, I saw this Church and immediately my heart wanted to stop by. I did not know if it was a Catholic Church or a Presbyterian Church or an Anglican Church but my heart would let me pass by without checking it out. When I realized it was a Catholic Church I was so excited to see inside. And I found myself in tears and asking myself.. How beautiful is heaven if we have something like this on earth. Very beautiful and God bless all who built this Amazing, Holy Place

By far, my favorite place in McKinney now. Beautiful on the outside, and in. And I don't mean just esthetically either. They show soo much compassion, grace, and heart for anyone, and everyone, who walks through their doors. Although at first intimidated, when I saw the 'Alpha and Omega' upon walking in, I knew I was home.

My wife and I were very excited to join this parish. When I went for confession, there were kids in the line, and we were super happy to see that. However, Sunday was a different story. This is a so called Modernist parish. Notice the description of the painting - ‘A Women Clothed in the Sun’. It also appears they replaced the votive candles with a school girl reading and humbling an angel. The other picture is of this ‘Women’ holding, I’m guessing our Lord and Savior with a confused priest behind her. These are the main iconography when walking around the sanctuary, and I do believe they are analogous of the whole situation not only within this parish but of the ruling party of the church. My wife and I wept. Pax Vobiscum, Bob St. Joseph, Pray for Us

The new St. Gabriel the Archangel Church opened in early 2019. The grounds and buildings are beautiful, providing a wonderful spiritual and calming space for prayer and reflection! The statues and stained glass are wonderful. Great friendly and welcoming parish community too! I look forward to going to Mass each week!

They provided rental assistance at an extremely difficult time when I lost my mother as a senior living alone. I was able to attend her celebration in Tennessee. The leadership was kind 😇 and non judgemental. …
