Moments of Heaven's glory came into my heart so many times during all of Great Holy Week and Pascha night and morning that I'm still trying to process it. Moments of mystery that filled my spirit with childlike awe and wonder as I participated with my whole being at every Service, still glow in my memory during this Bright Week. Feeling Bright. Feeling Blessed. Feeling unworthy to receive such grace. Honestly? The more I delve into my Orthodox Faith, the more I realize I have yet to learn. St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church is a welcoming, loving, a devout Church family and may I personally invite you: Come and See!

I LOVE St. Demetrios with all my heart! Finally, a community that I truly feel a part of! From day one, I was warmly welcomed. I have made so many friendships and connections at our coffee hour after the Liturgy (they have a hymnal and liturgy book in every pew in case you are new or just want to follow along, and even a welcoming committee that will help answer any questions you may have). The community and outreach of St. Demetrios is something I am proud to belong to. I honestly I look forward to the beautiful and peaceful church services and also want to give my time to volunteer. Whatever your talent is (baking, serving, gardening, Meals on Wheels, a book club, singing, chanting, philanthropy, Bible Study, etc.) they have a spot for everyone to find their niche. We also have a well stocked bookstore to further your learning of Orthodoxy. If you are considering a visit to St. Demetrios, this is your sign of encouragement. Please come and see. As soon as my husband brought me here for the first time, I knew this was home. Everyone was very warm and welcoming, and I can’t express how sweet and kind Fr. Nick is. If you’re seeking the Christian faith in its fullest, come and experience Divine Liturgy here at St. Demetrios. As a convert myself, we are always happy to share our own experiences and welcome new members to the faith! Also, please do not hesitate to attend coffee hour after!! We’d love to see you ❤️.

Came to their 57th Anniversary Greek Festival and really enjoyed the event on Sunday afternoon. They had sellers outside with various merchants, a tent where the dances were being held, and outside dining area, the inside had the restrooms, bookstore with Greek products, and the dining hall where the baked goods and lunches were being sold! The place was so clean throughout the event and you can tell the staff really care of those in attendance! We went to their church tour at 1:30pm and we got to hear the history of the Greek Orthodox Church. Beautiful place and will visit again for their 58th Anniversary in 2026.

I started attending St. Demetrios in early 2025 and immediately felt at home. Father Nick is an incredible spiritual father, and the parish has been a welcoming place to grow in faith. If you are curious about Orthodoxy, St. Demetrios is a wonderful place to learn in a comfortable, genuine environment, without pressure and surrounded by people who truly live the faith.

Attending the Holy Week services at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church was truly an extraordinary and moving experience. I was invited to take part in this sacred time leading up to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and I am so grateful I accepted. As someone who is neither Greek nor Orthodox, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but what I encountered was something deeply beautiful. The reverence and devotion of the congregation were palpable in every moment of the service. From the chanting and candlelight to the rituals rich with meaning and history, it was clear that this was not just tradition, but a deeply lived faith. What touched me most, however, was the warmth and kindness extended to me. Despite being an outsider, I was welcomed with open hearts. The sense of community and the genuine hospitality I experienced reflected a culture rooted in love, faith, and togetherness. This experience left a lasting impression on me. Very warm and welcoming parish! It feels like home here. We found this parish after coming from a much bigger parish and feel so much more at home. Everyone is friendly and inviting. I’ve made so many friend over my time here. Fr. Nick is such a great priest. I’d recommend coming here if anyone is interested in finding out about Orthodoxy!

We have been attending St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for about a year now, and it truly feels like home. Being able to come here and worship the Lord is such a beautiful and meaningful experience. The sense of community is amazing! Everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and especially helpful to new members. We are so grateful to have found a church where we feel so comfortable and supported.
