Great church. The people are so genuine, friendly and loving. The pastor preaches the Bible in a thorough and intentional way and the music is God-honoring. Very wholesome atmosphere.

I can't say enough good about this Weatherford Church. We left our old church with a heavy heart, knowing we needed to find a better church for our kids. Since we started going to Southside Baptist Church in Weatherford, our kids have made so many good Christian friends. In fact, after being there for less than a year, the preacher just married our second daughter and her new husband. Her bridal shower was thrown there with an incredible amount of ladies from the church, and the wedding was packed with all of our new friends from this incredible church in Weatherford. We live in Azle and drive all the way every Sunday morning, evening, and Wednesday with a smile, excited to go. When you find the right church, you just want to tell everyone, this is that church, a real church.

Most friendly people that I have seen since moving to Weatherford. I have checked several churches. Very good old-fashioned style, no rock bands. Love the messages from the pastor. Love the people. My health is not too good. They don't hold it against me.

Excellent preaching that should teach a person of Gods love for all mankind, the destructiveness of sin, and how by faithful living a man be a blessing to others as well as being blessed. Also, the teaching is focused so that it helps you to know God more personally and in so doing, you will have a greater desire for him to get glory from you. It is a great family church.

I've been attending this church for over 10 years. The people here supported and helped my family when we were in the valley, and they've celebrated with us when we've been on the mountain top. Neither my wife nor I have immediate family close by, so having folks I can trust in my corner ready to help me handle what life throws at us is a big deal. This is a church where being Christian means something.

The preaching from Pastor Merrell will deepen your knowledge and understanding of God’s Word! The members are not just friends, but quickly become like family. This church is just what our family needed, and we love this church!!!

This is the best church in Weatherford. The people are family, not just friendly. Great children's ministries, wonderful choir music and just a great family atmosphere. Come check us out, you won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for the best Weatherford Church, you have to try this one! We decided to bring our family here a few months ago in our search for the best church in Weatherford and we found it. The preacher does an amazing job preaching God's Word, and it has amazing things for our kids. We have teenagers, as well a somewhat rambunctious 4 year old, and during Sunday morning, we take our 4 year old to Sunday school and then he goes to children's church, and loves it!! And the teens do all kinds of things, they have made great quality friends quickly. My wife and I have also made so many friends that we feel like will be lifelong friends. I can not say enough good about this Weatherford, TX church. We used to go to church in Springtown, and we live in Azle, but even if we lived in Fort Worth, Southside Baptist Church in Weatherford is well worth the drive!
