My 5 start rating needs to be explained seeing how I've never attended the church. What i have done is conversed with the new Pastor Paul Redic. We met in what most people would say was fortuitous way, but if you understand how God has a design for us all, you'll see it differently. My wife and I were blessed to meet this man at his job, and you could tell that God has his hand on Pastor Redic. In that initial greeting, I seen a man who carried himself like God had blessed him. Pastor Redic was friendly, inviting and helpful, summed up in one word jovial. In that first meeting we spoke about church and God briefly. He invited us to his then church Galilee Baptist, and spoke about the current Pastor Anthony Williams. Responsibilities and time didn't allow for us to fellowship at the church, but the invitation was set. At least once, every month since August of 2025 my wife and I have witnessed this man being the same jovial and spiritual lifted person. In one of those settings he informed us that his blessings had open the doors to his own church in Corsicana. All that being said, I know this church is blessed and will continue to be blessed if it follows its appointed leader. I can see Pastor Redic being the same jovial and spiritually lifted person at the doors of his own church, inviting each person in with a smile and warmth in his voice. Im praying that God gives us the opportunity to attend service and maybe even break bread with Pastor Redic one Sunday. Go visit Second Mission Baptist and let everyone know if my post is spots on.

My thoughts on This place. Was beautiful people of God. I felt embarrassed.. Of myself & felt the need to be reborn once it was offered I had a baptism which I was baptized.. just so many different views on the word of God & the teaching & other things therefore it made it very difficult... For me to join my advice to the church Love one another & forgive as Christ forgive you God bless
