Very beautiful place of worship. It is built for the Catholic community around it. Parking lot was very clean. Church was large and extremely clean!

The building itself is nice and the clergymen were wonderful. my main concern is the other staff/ushers. I went for my nephew's confirmation. My neice was with us and duento her living situation, she didn't have any church clothes to wear. The only thing she had was a short dress, which she was uncomfortable wearing, so she triednto cover up with a black shawl. An usher lady (wote red for confirmation with leopard print cover up) didn't pull my neice to the side, but waited until she was standing in front of everyone to tell her in Spanish AND English that she needed to pull her dress down bc it was too short. She was embarrassed and immediately pulled it down to cover up, which resulted in her ripping the dress. She didnt stay for pictures and felt that church was supposed to be for worship, not judgement ("if your eye causes you to son, pluck it out and throw it away.."). Id saybit was an isolated incident but in the confirmation classes, I believe it was the same lady who yelled at another girl for chewing gum anf then singled her mother out and YELLED at her "YOU NEED to keep your daughter in line, this is disrespectful!" There are ways and places to say these things but it seems like this is one of those people who think that because they go to church, they are better than everyone else so they treat us horribly. Shes an example of why people believe christianity is a fraud. Beautiful church, wonderful priests, entitled staff. Side note my neice was one of the people who don't believe in the church, she only went because it meant a lot to her brother. Hearing two stories in the same family about the same staff DEFINITELY solidified her beliefs that people use a Christian title to look down on others.

I felt super welcomed here. First time visiting. Mass was beautiful. People greet you with God in their hearts. I will definitely visit again when I visit Midland TX.
