I've been here several times for fellowship prayer and fOOd. These creatures are kind and never say no. They are all about taking care of children, youth, elderly and the least of these (just like Jesus does)! If you need help consider going here and allow them to meet your need in North your hearts and bellies. I've been to MANY Salvation Armies across the USA and they are CONSISTENTLY kind thoughtful prayerful and full of THE WORD. Jesus is HERE. These are definitely JESUS PEOPLE. Consider tithing here as well I'm sure they could use your financial support. Also I met a really sweet young man that's looking for a job so if you're a boss and need a good Jesus centered servant employee stop on by and let them know who you are and what you're hiring for, I'm sure you will get GREAT EMPLOYEES that are birthed here!!! Thank you ladies and gents for all that you have done and still do!!

They never answer the phone. When you have to call the command center just for them to call the facility and get an answer says alot about the staff. I was told to come by this location to receive utility assistance by the Lieutenant. I stood outside of the bldg for over 15 min ringing the doorbell at the back entrance and no one answered. I called the command center again to let them know again that no one was available. They called again and received an answer. I was conferenced in to a live person, and the receptionist was not pleasant to say the least. She proceeds to ask my reason for being there and I explained that I had received the okay from the Lieutenant. After asking more questions she told me no funding was available and that she didn't know when they would recv more. That was not explained by the Lieutenant. After she guided me to the correct area, she proceeds to speak with me on the phone OUTSIDE the door where she could see me. The Lieutenant arrives, lets me in and I still left out with nothing. Do NOT trust these organizations. They are only good resources for the selected families they choose!!

No stars, if I could, for being obnoxious and loud outside Walmart. Just shut up.

I used the food bank and had to fill out a questionaire and show DL, proof of income and a utility bill to confirm my address before i could receive any goods but i understand that they need to confirm u are in need. Instead of personally selecting items i wanted they filled a big bag with frozen meats, pasta and sauces, a variety of canned vegetables, beans and cereal and more. It easily can last for several days/weeks. U can bring ur bag back every 30 days and they will fill it up again if u are still in need. I found it very easy, coordinated system and i would definantly refer it to others in need.

Great little Corps in the heart of Waxahachie. They also offer a Boys and Girls Club. Edit: Looks like they have a music academy/music program too!
