Great place to host a Wedding, Quince, or other big celebration. The place has been remodeled since the last time I was here. Very elegant look all around. The service was great-- with servers coming around all night to fulfill the needs of guests. And the DJ did a great job keeping people on the dance floor-- which is one of the biggest dance floors I've seen. Never gets too crowded! :-)

If I could give a 0 or -0 I would!! I am so angry and bothered by the lack of empathy that Angel Maldonado showed in my cousins funeral service 😢 He started off talking about his illness, gays, lesbians and people not being grateful for living! This was confusing because it was a funeral not an other mass!! We wanted peace and a positive message, but we got the complete opposite!! I don’t think he even knew how to give the deceased a proper blessing!! Please don’t let him give another funeral mass. I don’t want any other family to go through what my family went through!! So very sad 😔

I signed 2 kids up for Catechism paid 120.00 they were placed in 2 different classes. The first day classes were supposed to start one teacher canceled because of the rain & it wasn't raining by the time classes started. The other teacher had a brief class explaining the schedule but also provided us with envelopes to "bring money if we didn't want to show up to mass during the weekend". The 2nd week the same teacher that canceled classes the first week said class would only be a brief class explaining the rules. I decided to cancel the classes because I need both classes to be at the same time and at week 2 they have still not started and asked for a refund which they denied me. So I feel like this is all about the money. It's no wonder why so many people loose faith in churches its not right to keep my money

They were not flexible at all they did not do what they said they would do the staff was unprofessional and drunk during the ceremony and at the reception they did not service at the time that was stipulated and just down right rude. DJ was unavailable and did not do what was asked of him, he was given specific music to play and only played what he wanted. The venue recommended a band that we were told that they would play all kind of music and that was not the case the band arrived drunk and was drunk the whole night even being disruptive during the ceremony had to be told to please be quit during the maid of honor speech. We made arrangements with the staff that we would have a cocktail hour during the time from 5-6 pm at which we were told that we would have to provide our own bartender only for our bartender to be told that he could not service what we had agreed on, also the venues bartender was supposed to start at 8 pm and did not start until well after 830 pm. At the end of the night was not happy with the service for the amount of money spent.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. "Father" Angel Maldonados lack of empathy and ignorance ruined my uncles funeral service. Our family was and is currently going through a difficult time and we did not come to peace with the ridiculous sermon he gave the family for my uncles death. He disrespectfully knocked on his coffin to make a point that my uncle could not hear us and would not wake up. Never once did he comfort the family and suggested if we wanted to hear about him, his wife should do the talking. It has been a very difficult time for the great family he left behind. In my opinion, this "father" will not provide the guidance and comfort one seeks when attending the mass of a departed loved one. RIP Tio Ricky! 🙏 #33

In my opinion the church is not the issue problem here...it is the people who run the church. They are rude and think they owned the place. Our family is one of the ones that originated from the small town it was at one time, and help built this chruch and its place for ballroom, ect. I am pretty sure there are a few people left, too. When people would go to church they would enjoy the mass and respectfully help the elders and each other in chruch... weather it was sitting, ect..."the originated people know what I am talking about". Also, one main point is that the respect for "Services" was RESPECTED. Now it feels that you to a circus because people fight for sitting, and then you also have the people who get there late and part of a family that takes over the sitting benches to reserve for them. I loved going to my church, but now I think about it a lot and I ended up just pray at my home. And the lady that mentioned the person from the office it is true! She is rude, judgmental...which in the first place non of her business to judge ANYONE, because like the saying goes "the way you judge is the way you live"! So, remember that when you talk to people...lady. The Quince Celebration it happened to me, too! So go figure, she wanted $300.00 for Mijas mass...and she would have to be there with 4 other Quinceanera's...so I didn't mind the mass, but 4 other, yes! I asked her...where do you think I am going to sit my guests...and guess what she said...that is your problem, and they just have to come early. So go figure that..."I, CELEBRATE MIJAS MASS THE NEXT DAY AT MT. CARMEL "free"... and prayed for my daughter's blessing!!!. Thank you for listening and hope to make this people understand that the church is about MONEY not Services...and that goes for EVERY different religious churches not only ours! Sad to say but it's the truth.

Extremely disappointed. We inquired about a quinceañera mass and they told us that the "fee" would be $400 dollars. What a slap to the face! Absolutely ridiculous, this is why more and more people stop going church and lose faith in the catholic church. I'm one of them. I will always believe in God but never again in the church system. We decided to have the quinceañera mass in Juarez instead for FREE. ABUZONES!!!
