  I’m beyond thankful to have found Rock Creek Church. From our very first visit and throughout the past two months, our family has felt genuinely welcomed. Pastor Brad and Pastor Greg deliver sermons that are deeply rooted in the Bible, and the worship is incredible. We’re excited to get plugged in and become part of this church family!

  We have lived in the area for about two years and have been looking for a new church home. After resonating with Rock Creek's core and non-essential beliefs, we decided to give it a try. The service we attended was preached by a guest pastor from Arizona, but I assume that his views align with the leaders of Rock Creek considering they asked him to come preach. Overall we thought the worship was solid, everyone seemed friendly, and we have not experienced such an energetic congregation in a long time. We were initially pretty impressed and excited. The sermon we heard was based in Nehemiah and preached on the theme of joining in when you see God working around you, told through the lens of the rebuilding of the Wall of Jerusalem. Overall, we enjoyed the message, but the frequency at which the church's building project was mentioned was very off putting. The application of this message that could have had a much more general application of "join in with God when you see him working" with a more subtle reminder of the financial contribution needed to complete the building project, but was extremely pointed toward the money the church needs for their building project. The building project was mentioned multiple times through the message and heavily focused on at the end. At one point the preacher said that if the money is not raised, they may not be able to pay staff. We were honestly shocked that this was even said. As someone who had not previously attended the church, I felt like we were being pushed for money over and over again. It almost felt like we weren't supposed to be there - like they weren't talking to us. Obviously I understand that some messages are catered to specific people and situations and that everything may not resonate, but as a guest and potential new member we were honestly taken aback at how Scripture was used in this sermon. We are certainly open to trying Rock Creek again and are taking time to listen to other sermons that are posted online, but we did not feel that this experience made us feel strongly about pursuing Rock Creek further.

  Rock Creek has been a great place to find like minded believers, deep friendships, discipleship & leading my family and I closer to Jesus. It’s not perfect, but it is redemptive & authentic, speaking truth from the pulpit. Real pastor and real people not focused on perfection or image based. We have loved that the focus of the church is multigenerational, and seeing the value of growing in Christ in all stages of life.

  I attended your service on Baptism Sunday with my daughter and her husband. I have bad hearing and wear hearing aids as I’m sure a lot of other worshippers do too. With my type of hearing loss I can’t sit in loud environments. Even when I turned my hearing aids off it didn’t help. So I moved out to the lobby and even there it was too loud for me. I had an elderly couple sitting by us who sat thru the opening music with their fingers in their ears. Is it possible that you could tone your sound down some so it’s not like your shouting to everyone. I’m sure there are probably others who feel the same way. It would make it more enjoyable experience.

  While no church is perfect (because we humans are in it 😅), RC Church leadership - Pastors Brad & Greg - lead with candor, humility and transport...refreshing qualities from the pulpit! Samantha and the worship team are a passionate group of faith-filled followers of Christ; and they endeavor to make Jesus famous, not themselves 🙌 RC is a healthy, thriving church, that's growing in multiple ways - even starting a Deaf Ministry 🙏 If you are looking for church to plug into - come and see!

  We just done attending Michelle’s Celebration of Life service. And this is our first time come to this church. People are so nice, the building is beautiful. The pastor preached really good. Also everybody who served were So genuine nice. We are blessed. We are living in Burleson area and already have our own local church there. But If everyone looking for local Church around here, you can try to grow in this church. I saw they have many kids class too. So perfect for family church! God bless y’all

  We were referred to Rock Creek by friends of ours when we were looking for a church home. I believe it was God leading us here ultimately now. We were between going to a Catholic Church based on my upbringing, but I’m so thankful that we were led here. Rock Creek has quickly become a home for us. We give time on our second and fourth Sunday mornings to volunteer at the info desk, and I’ve also attended two Women’s Conferences, going on a third this year. There are numerous opportunities to meet people, like in Bible study, which I’ve been able to attend three at this time, and Joyful Gatherings, where you can share experiences, hardships, and joys with other like-minded women in your neighborhood. And finally, Re-generation has been my life altering stage. Rock Creek offers this program, along with Re-engage (marriage ministry ‘counseling’). I’m praying for anyone who takes an opportunity to read through my poorly worded review to come and visit our church community. Pastor Brad, Pastor Greg are amazing and teach the gospel of the Lord. Their passion is unwavering and every time we’re there we feel that it’s a message spoken directly to us. I promise you won’t be in better hands and will not regret taking a leap towards finding ladies or gentleman who seek the leadership of the Lord, and ready and willing to welcome with open arms🩷.

  We have been attending Rock Creek since we moved to Texas two years ago. I truly believe that God led us to this church. You can feel the Holy Spirit moving every time you are there. Pastor Brad and Pastor Greg, as well as the rest of the staff, are absolutely amazing. I have been in church my entire life and never experienced one quite like this. I look forward to attending every week. Pastor Brad is courageous in his willingness to preach the truth of God’s word even when it does not match up with what is popular in today’s society. They truly are helping people meet and follow Jesus. We love this church!

  I recently visited this church and was left with a deepened sadness. For context I am a devoted member of the Catholic Church. Lots of my friends go to this church and asked me to go with them, I was curious in what their church service was like so I gladly excepted. I kept an open mind, and really wanted to hear the pastors message. At first I was definitely a little confused since it was definitely not what I was used to, but I didn’t see anything wrong with it. I believed it was just another church that follows God. I am not one to make fun of, talk bad about, or laugh at another branch of Christianity, or Religion. It is not my job to Judge someone, that is the Lords job. Unfortunately that is not was this church believes. This church believes in making fun of, and saying anyone who believes in another church, or religion is descend to go to Hell. I was baffled. I was ready to walk out of that room. This church talked about how Judaism is a bad religion, and also explained how this is the religion they were discussing this week, and have discussed other religions and churches for the past week. It deeply hurts me to see my friends believe this, and watch the people I love and other children of Christ truly believe that this was okay, and that this is what church is like. Church is a place of love and worship, not a place of hate. I really hope this church can find its way back to God, as well as the people attending it. God bless you all and I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.🩷
