I don't mean to bash on a church, but somebody's got to say what happened. We rented the spot for a graduation party. Just a nice get together with the family and some friends nothing out of the ordinary food some beer nothing crazy, just plain old fun. My sister tried to get in touch with the management to find out if we could drop off some things the day before because we only rented the spot for only 4 hours, the reason being we didn't want to be in a rush getting things together for the party So we reached out by email we reached out by phone because that's what was in the message, which said that if there was any problems or if there was any kind of communication that needed to be done before the party or before they get together either email or call. The management never got back to us, after we left a few things light coolers and some decorations the evening before, the management told my sister that they were not going to return the deposit, eventually they returned the deposit, but they kept $30 for a storage fee, even though we tried to get in touch with them multiple times, The reason we tried to get in touch with them was to find out if we were able to come in there before the time that they gave us in order to decorate whatever we have to decorate, but because there wasn't any communication back they ended up charging an extra 2 hours because we came in early to decorate and we spent an hour more trying to clean up after the party I'm just putting out this message if you do end up getting or renting this spot, just take into account that they are very strict on the times, and they will try to keep your deposit even though you tried to communicate and if they don't communicate back it's your fault because they didn't communicate back Just be aware that they will try to keep your deposit

Rivergate has great facilities and a staff that is easy to work with. I use the church 3-4 times a year and always a great time. My guests always compliment on the property.

FINALLY found a church that made us feel welcome right from the start- we have been to many churches throughout our life but Rivergate is one of a kind- everyone is genuine and cares about other people. The first week we attended, we were invited to lunch by people we had just met. I’ve never had an experience like that before. The leaders and attendees are the first to admit that they aren’t perfect but are super thankful for the redemption through Jesus. I am constantly challenged by the faith that’s exhibited at this church. I also have found major respect for the leaders here and how the church is governed. They seek to listen to the Lord and then act according to His will. They keep short accounts but do everything out of love. The leaders here have taken love to a new level unlike I’ve ever seen before. I also have never found any pastors that I’ve Felt more comfortable with than the ones at RGC. I am so thankful that I’m able to be a part of such a raw community here at Rivergate church!

I've been too many churches trying to find my calling and by far this is the most welcoming church ever. Very versatile church that welcomes all backgrounds, just came as you are and you will feel the love of GOD and his presence! I am truly happy I was recommended to come to this church by brother Jose. Me and my family live it here!

Rivergate is a place with open arms that offers an inviting atmosphere to the whole family. The phrase most often heard from folks visiting Rivergate Church is "feels like home" and my family and I feel the exact same way. When looking for a new church home we asked for recommendations from friends and the most enthusiastic recommendations were for Rivergate. When visiting we found that the people are warm and welcoming. The worship is contemporary and free with a very talented and Spirit led worship team. The pastors are very caring, knowledgeable and make themselves available to everyone. All are made to feel like an integral part of the "family" regardless of your age or status there's a place at Rivergate for everyone. If you're not sure what you're looking for try Rivergate. If you're looking for a place to find family, friends and learn how to be effective as a Christian in the Bryan/College Station area Rivergate will make you feel like you've found home.

Lita and I visited 5 other churches before finding Rivergate. From the first time, we felt the presence of the Lord, and we've never left. What we found, was Family...which was exactly what we were looking for ! Rivergate folks are real people, who want a relationship with the Father, through His Son Jesus, guided by Holy Spirit and the Word. If that sounds like you, Rivergate is where you belong! Come on and give us a try. If you don't like it, we'll give you a hug, and wish you God's best.

Everyone is so welcoming and loving! You can come as you are without judgement and are immediately loved!!! The worship is spontaneous and this church is led by Holy Spirit!! The pastors preach straight from the Bible and speak the Truth in love! I love this church and urge anyone that wants to come, COME! You won’t regret it!!

All my life I have attended church. I have always heard the term, "Church Family". Not until I walked in the doors of Rivergate did I ever feel that sense of "family". Did I enjoy church, yes but now I am spiritually alive. Our children are growing up with there friends in church and they are all genuinely close. I found my joy and God given purpose in leading Childrens Ministry. Thank you Lord for allowing me to serve you through the children. It's a joy and an honor to share your word and unfailing love. I have found people that understand prophetic gifts that my Father in Heaven has given me. Helped me have answers to questions I have had for my whole life. My husband was Born Again at Rivergate, my daughter was saved as well. I married my best friend at Rivergate in a ceremony created uniquely for us by our pastor's, our pastor's that arent just Pastor's, they are our friends. I have gained friends that are like family. I can go to them and know they will truly pray for me and truly want Gods blessings for My family and myself. I'm thankful for my Church. I am thankful to be On Fire for my God! I'm thankful for the many blessings that God has provided us as he lead us to Rivergate. (Even though I was hesitant and I thought it was all one big family and they were crazy!) Lol I'm thankful I obeyed my Father and stayed where he lead me. My Faith and obedience to try something that scared me. A place that was so different then a Baptist Church I have always known. (and still love) This Sunday we broke the mold. We as a church tried something new. We broke that cultural chain and together worshiped and celebrated our God in a new way. I am so thankful for that experience. The songs that were in Spanish, words I don't understand, that had me captivated and still fully wrapped in the presence of the Living God!!! Moments like these. They simply make you thankful for the blessings and journeys our Father takes us on. Thank you God for the gift of a Church Family and for allowing us to be your imperfect but faithful Sons and Daughters. Thank you, Rivergate Family for all the love you show, my family. 💜 Jeremiah 30:19 "From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained."

I love the people and the way that they love God and love others freely. Rivergate is a church that does not shy away from addressing issues and topics that others might be afraid of, but they shine the truth and love of God into any area and welcome anyone who is hungry, hurting, and seeking. It's a great place to learn more about God, to develop community, and to experience life long healing and transformation.
