RightNow Media does have one clear strength, and that is the content. The library is wide, the curriculum options are solid, and the price feels reasonable. In many ways, it really is like a Netflix for Christian content. For churches with strong and reliable internet, this part can be genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, everything surrounding subscriptions and cancellation was a frustrating experience.Canceling RightNow Media is NOT simple. There is no clear or easy cancel subscription button anywhere on their website. Instead, they require up to 30 days’ notice, offer no refunds, and treat all purchases as final. That alone feels outdated and out of step with how most subscription services operate today. To cancel, I had to send an email, go through multiple back and forth responses, and then sit through a final phone call that lasted all of two or three minutes. The call itself was not helpful. It simply felt like one more hoop to jump through. RightNow Media frames this process as a way to offer personal support, but in practice it felt like a tactic to slow down and prolong cancellation. When I pointed out that services like Amazon, Netflix, or Hulu allow quick and easy cancellations, I was told that those platforms follow the world’s way of doing things. That response was honestly disappointing. Please do not spiritualize bad business practices. Making cancellation difficult does not make it more relational. It just makes it frustrating, especially for churches trying to steward their money well. Another important thing to know is that all content must be streamed online. There is no option to download material for offline use. If your church has unreliable or weak internet, this platform may be difficult or even impossible to use effectively. In that case, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Bottom line, RightNow Media offers good content, but the way they handle subscriptions and cancellations feels manipulative and out of line with the values they claim to represent. Until that changes, I cannot recommend it without serious hesitation.

Our group really enjoys the videos and the variety of speakers. But, can you PLEASE turn down the background volume, or leave it off all together. We use in a group setting and in order for all to hear, the background music really gets in the way. Thanks you Blessings

This app will work the 1st time I use it but once I close it and then want to go back and use it again it will not open unless I do a force stop on the app. From my phone(samsung galaxy a54) the app is not closing correctly or something.

We get access to RightNow Media through our church. I'm assuming that the people behind RightNow Media developed their content to be viewed ONLY on smartphones. I've installed RightNow Media app/channel on our Firestick and logged in, however, when we try to watch a video, it acts like the enter/okay button stopped working. We can't watch any of their videos on our Firestick on our TV. I went to the rightnow media website on my Windows laptop (Chrome and Firefox) and it literally just loads a white page. I am not impressed by RightNow Media whatsoever, which is sad, because I was looking forward to viewing the videos and seeing what their children's content was like for our kids. Not everyone is glued to their smartphones. People still watch videos on a TVs.

Love the content on my apple devices / but why can’t I load the app to my LG smart TV - with the very many other undesirable apps available to it- I somehow fluked it a couple of times last year - but it won’t detect the tv as a device/ can you please rectify this - so much better to watch on large screen whether alone or in study groups. Unless it’s on iPhone -iPad - or Apple TV - it won’t load - only trailers can be viewed - very disappointing in that regard

The information and videos these folks share has become invaluable to our church folks' spiritual formation. It's a goldmine of teaching.

I had moved to Bloomington IL and I was having trouble getting into a certain Bible study with Rightnow Media, so I called them, and the very nice, cheerful Anita helped me to update my info of my new church I joined so that I could then order the Bible study I needed to teach our class. Thank you Anita and Rightnow media, Blessings to you always!!
