Our teen who primarily lives in Corpus was invited to VBS this summer when she was with us and we can’t say enough good things about the experience. She’s shy and has social anxiety, she did not want to go the first day, but when she got home she was beaming with excitement and telling us what all they did. She went the whole week, and we truly believe this has changed the trajectory of her future. She realized she could be apart of something bigger and how sweet the people at the church were. She gained confidence, friendships, and a new desire to read her Bible. We are extremely grateful for the volunteers that poured into her and all the others at VBS. If you are looking for a good church home for your children, this is a great home!

I been looking for a church for a long time for my son and I . That is welcoming and inviting . Where people say hello and make you feel at home and shake your hand or give you a hug . My son enjoys going and made lots of friends . The Preacher and his wife are friendly people with Great Hearts . Come and see for yourself don’t take my word on it . Hope to see you there .

I was raised in a Texas Baptist church but stepped away from my faith for several years. When I found my way back to God, I visited quite a few churches and honestly wasn’t sure how long it would take to find the right one. On my fifth attempt, I walked into Ridgemont Baptist Church… and wow. now here I am a year and a half later lol From the moment I stepped in, I felt genuine love, warmth, and most importantly, the presence of the Spirit. It didn’t feel forced or overwhelming—just real. I’m so grateful to have found a church family that shows up for me in the important moments of my life and supports me with so much care and kindness. If you’re reading this and searching like I was, I hope you’ll come visit. You might just find what you’ve been missing. Also—small bonus: potluck is every first Sunday, and yes… the food is very good. 🙂
