This church changed my life. The pasture is extremely down to earth. If your looking for a forever home with amazing people this is the church. Worship is my favorite part. You can tell that there hearts are pure and they are there to grow the kingdom. I attended man camp in November of 2025. It was a weekend full of worship and fellowship. I was also baptized there just a couple weeks before! You can feel god moving! Worship is so powerfull. I've just have had an all around great experience.

I've never really been a church goer...We moved to Barton Creek Ranch and in December, had the wild idea of coming to the Refuge.. we've been to places like the Ark, great church but felt no connection... but Refuge has been so welcoming. We've been able to really connect through Mens and Ladies Ministries, serving, Youth Group... I can now say I'm a proud (and humble) Bible thumper. This church is an amazing place, especially for "broken" people. The Refuge has made our family so strong through Jesus.

I stopped in to see if this church gave me a better feeling than my other church. It didn't.. Over all the churches clean. On the people are relatively nice. But there's a certain air of superficiality. During one of the sermons as the pastor was recalling an emotional story, the lights dimmed and gentle music began to play. Things like this reiterated that I was not watching a heartfelt recollection but a rehearsed theater.

Very welcoming church. I love fellowshipping with other believers that have passion and a vision. God is definitely in this place. Will be back soon❤️

This is an amazing place to worship our Lord & Savior. It's all about Love! The people are like family. Pastor Steve is awesome and preaches from the heart & the word of God. You will not be disappointed. Come visit and see what God has for you.

If you are looking for place of worship where you fit in, come on home. I'm socially awkward and uncomfortable around... well, people. But this is like showing up at a family reunion where everyone already knows your weird and loves you for it anyway. Pastor Steve's messages are raw and always exactly what Christ needs his children to hear, but it's never in judgement. You WILL feel convicted here, but not because you feel judged by the people, but rather because Christ works through this place. The worship here is phenomenal. The band is powerful, and moving. But instead of watching people perform for an audience, you are watching them praise Jesus. It's awesome to see. This church is small, but it's growing. God is moving here, you should come see how you can be a part of it.

This is by far one of my favorite nondenominational churches I've ever been to. Pastor Steve is an upbeat and inspirational leader. The band and lead singer are spectacular performing many moving songs of praise and worship. The people are warm, welcoming and friendly. If you are looking for a spiritual home of healing and friendship, GO AND SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD!
