  My family and I have never felt more welcome in a church! It’s a generally younger crowd, 30+ ish, so things are modern while still holding true to Godly values. The pastor, Byron is charismatic in his sermons making you want to pay attention. The nursery is very secure and my kids always love visiting and making new friends in there. I always feel the Holy Spirit while worshipping during service. Pastor Byron does not “tickle your ears” with only the happy things, but rather finds a clear, caring way to steer you in a truthful direction on God’s path. I cannot recommend this church enough. There are tons of different demographics from all walks of life that are members. My family and I are always met with kindness and helpfulness every time we visit. I can confidentially say that we have found our earthly home in this church. ♥️

  This church is truly “life change through Jesus”. The Holy Spirit is doing incredible things in this faith community. Pastor B and the teaching staff are really good about going through the Bible, verse by verse, and explaining the context of Bible passages, and educating us on the history of the biblical times. This church is a very loving, kind, & non-judgmental community. “Come as your are” is their motto, and you will find people like family within the walls of this church. Redemption is by far the best church in the Southeast Texas area.

  Words can't describe how much Redemption has meant to me. Since the grand opening of the warehouse in February of 2019, I have been attending and I don't know where I'd be if God wouldn't have led me to this church. The Lord redeemed me, saved me, and surrounded me with the best people I've had the privilege of doing life with, and the family I've made along the way. Jesus is alive, and if you're EVER wondering if this church is for you? 100% is. Come and see, and Life-change will happen. The best is yet to come ❤️

  This church has so much heart behind it, these people that make the church will sacrifice everything they have for the church and for the Lord. We have a FANTASTIC Sunday service with FANTASTIC worship, a FANTASTIC word every Sunday. Pastor Byron is not scared to preach the Bible and is not scared to say what needs to be said. The Youth program is just awesome, and they’re putting so much effort and love into the next generation. And how could I POSSIBLY forget FIRST WEDNESDAY PRAYER NIGHT, the best night of the month are when we get to see these prayers being answered in peoples lives. The lord is truly moving here and working in so many people. We are watching REVIVAL UNFOLD🙏🏼

  Redemption Church is truly a place where you will feel the presence of God and see the people of God be The Church like the Bible intended! My experience first visiting Redemption was a welcoming parking lot team excited to see me and to welcome me! Followed by cheerful greeters that genuinely wanted to know who I am and interested in my story! Worship was AMAZING to say the least! The presence of God is palpable in every service and the leaders are so sensible to the spirit which allows the congregation to join in! The preaching is always a blessing to my life and teachings are based directly from the Bible scripture by scripture! I recommend visiting Redemption and experience it yourself!

  A church is not a building but a people ... and I never thought I would love a church the way I love this church. Everyone is so inviting and friendly. I tell people that I have always known of and believed in God ... but I feel I never truly "knew" and began a real relationship with him until I started going to Redemption. What I love about Redemption is that church does not end on Sundays. If you go to Next Steps, join a serve team, and join a small group (all of which is highly encouraged), church continues throughout the week and the Life Change Through Jesus never stops. If you're looking for a church, if you've been hurt by a church, if you're struggling in any way, this is a church I recommend.

  Everyone is so welcoming. You don’t feel uncomfortable going in because there are people there to greet you and help you with whatever you need. Pastor Byron preaches and teaches God’s Word straight from the Bible. He doesn’t try to change God’s meaning or water it down to please people. He preaches it how God intended, and we love that! July will be 6 years we’ve been going there, and it’s the best decision we’ve ever made for our marriage, family and kids.

  Being a member of Redemption has helped me to grow in my walk with Jesus Christ. Along the way, I have met some phenomenal people who began as visitors and quickly become active members of the congregation. When you listen to Pastor Byron Ellis preaching scripture from God’s Word, you quickly realize that he is a true example of what scripture says that we all should be doing, walking out our faith.

  This is my amazing home church! They are truly the most special and life changing church I have ever attended. My relationship with God and my understanding of the Bible have grown so much since I started going in April.
