Absolutely beautiful church with wonderful music, by The Bible teaching, and very social members who have prayed with me many times when I needed it and/or invited me out for tea when I was in a rough time.

Came for the last three sermons in hopes of settling in a new church for my family and was very disappointed. Just hours advocating about how hate and violence is bad, but then turning around and encouraging those same things in the name of the Lord??? I will not be bringing my kids to a Church that's practically an echo chamber of Anti-Christ teachings, no thank you.

We love this church . They make you feel like you are home . They have a nursery and daycare center for the people coming to church . They also have a code for your child so safety is important to them. Very welcoming . They have handicap parking spots . A playground for the kiddos.

The Holy Spirit is alive and moving at Real Life Church. Pastors Brandon and Amy both teach directly from the Bible and explain the word of God so each person can understand and apply that teaching to our daily lives. This church is helping me grow in my relationships to the Lord.

The people are real! None of us are perfect except our Saviour so come as YOU are to a church full of caring people to worship our Lord Jesus Christ. This church is all about giving back to the community and is full of blessed volunteers giving back. And as Pastor said today "faith without works is dead'! Come work with us serving HIS people!

this is a charge that recognizes that we've all made mistakes in our past and is there to help us move on in our future in a path taken towards our heavenly father enter redeem our heavenly soles through him. I have met all walks of life of people who had different types of addictions and they are all good people that have been helped through this church to get past through their addictions and move forward in their lives.

When I attended my first sermon here, I was hopeful. The worship music was vibrant and contemporary, which I love! But I had significant problems with the pastors and their complete dismissal of a potential new member who wanted to get involved. I had multiple conversations with Pastor Charlie trying to get plugged in and involved with the church, only for him to (months later) claim he never knew me and block me on Facebook for posting a different point of view. Pastors also need accountability and Charlie is not interested in that. If you want a pastor who shares certifiably false Facebook "news" stories, then this may be the church for you. If you want a pastor who stirs up division within the church community using politics, then this might be the church for you. He's not interested in holding theological discussions with his congregants in the spirit of spiritual education. He's only interested in dictating his religious and political beliefs to you, stirring the pot to rally his conservative members of his congregation to his side. He preaches, you listen. That's it. Maybe that works for you, it doesn't for me. Religious education shouldn't be a closed process of one-way information. You should be able to disagree with your pastor and not be met with his vitriol for simply disagreeing theologically. Unless you are their flavor of conservative, I suggest you try a different church community. Note: I'm neither conservative not liberal, I split my vote three ways. This is not a "liberal rant" against the church pastorship. There's nothing wrong with being conservative. There's nothing wrong with being liberal. There is something wrong with a pastoral team that relishes in the drama stirred up through dubious sources and outright falsities....including a pastor who blocks folks for posting polite disagreement. It's Pastor Charlie's way or the highway; he is above reproach. I've been in church my whole life, a youth leader, a deacon, director of the coffee ministry, a foreign and domestic missionary, and on the board of directors for my former fellowship. I understand church politics happens, but this was not an acceptable way to handle it. A person should feel welcomed in their church, uplifted and supported by their pastoral care team. If you want a church where the pastoral care staff disowns you and tells you they have no idea who you are after attending for many months and trying to get involved in as many ways as possible, then this might be the church for do. If you want to get involved in a church and feel like you are drawn under the wing of the community, this may /not/ be the place for you. Despite repeated attempts to contact different staff members offering volunteer time and services over many months, it became clear, they were not interested in my help... they were only interested in my money. That's unfortunate. Maybe Pastor Charlie just had a bad day. Maybe he just misstepped. But the damage was permanent and we removed ourselves from church attendance to go elsewhere. But it's hard to believe that after a year of attending the church and speaking with Pastor Charlie many times that he simply didn't know me and saw me as disposable enough to cut off from the church community with the click of a button. When the pastor speaks ill of you publicly on Facebook and disowns you, you take your time and money to another church community. Do better, Real Life Church. Pastor Charlie may put up a humble front but when it comes down to it, he lacks humility and that is driving away attendees. Don't let the flashy marketing about community fool you.

Visited for the first time, and I was surprised it wasn’t a very welcoming place. I’m brand new to Gainesville and I don’t know a soul. I expected more from a small church and a small town like Gainesville. Their church is modern and worship was modern as well. I didn’t stay for the sermon. I can only speak to my first time experience and not the church as a whole.

Was done wrong by someone no longer with the staff and willing to give them another chance. Not much luck. I have called many times to touch base with the new pastor. He has not returned my phone call. I am very disappointed! Wish I could give less than a star

From Pastor Lubrano, Pastor Bryan and Pastor Hollis there is always a different message and viewpoint for most anyone. Not to mention Trent Polk and the rest of the awesome supporting staff for REAL Life Guidance.
