My husband and I have been part of Radical church since 2020, and we were honored to serve on the original launch team. Being here from the very beginning has been one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives. Over the years, we’ve built friendships that have become like family. We've really come to treasure these relationships that we've built. What we love most is the heart of Radical: the genuine community, the passion for serving others, the way everyone is welcoming with open arms and most importantly, Radical a true bible-based church. Whether you’re new to faith, returning after a long time, or simply looking for a place to belong, this is a church where you’ll feel seen, supported, and encouraged. I’d highly recommend checking it out. We’ve grown so much here, and I believe you’ll find the same sense of purpose, connection, and joy that we have.

Radical Church will always hold a special place in my heart. This is where my journey truly began—where I first found Radical, and where God used that moment to change not only my life, but my late husband’s life forever. When my husband was diagnosed with a rare cancer and given only two years to live, everything could have felt hopeless—but instead, those two years became the most meaningful and faith-filled time of his life. Through Radical Church, he found Jesus. He didn’t just exist—he truly lived. He was baptized in water and later baptized in the Holy Spirit. No matter how sick he felt or how hard the days were, he continued to serve the Lord with diligence, love, and unwavering faith. His life became a testimony to everyone around him, including his best friend James, my favorite brother. It has now been almost a year since he passed, and I still carry the impact of what God did in those moments. I will forever be grateful for Radical Church—for being the place that helped lead my husband to Jesus and for surrounding us with faith, love, and purpose during the hardest season of our lives. Even the hardest season I been walking in after his death this church and this community has been there for me. I truly can’t thank Radical enough, but I thank God even more for leading me there. If God is calling you—listen. He has a purpose and a plan for your life, and Radical Church can be a place where everything changes for you, your family or children, so come in your brokenness and let God heal you. I haven't been to church in quite a while, but I decided to attend a new church today with my children. Since my kids didn't want to go to childcare, I brought them into the service with me. We chose seats closest to the wall because we had a stroller and wanted to stay out of the way. Shortly after we sat down, a church volunteer approached us and asked if we could move because our stroller was supposedly too close to the emergency exit. There was still space to access the door, and I had intentionally positioned the stroller as close to us as possible. I explained that someone else was already sitting in the seat she wanted us to move to, and another person nearby stated that the entire row was reserved. The volunteer then suggested placing the stroller in the aisle where we were sitting, but the area was too narrow for that to work. When I explained this, she simply repeated that the stroller was "kind of in the way." The interaction felt rude and unwelcoming, so I decided it would be best for us to leave. Once I said we were leaving, her attitude suddenly changed. She tried to convince us to stay and even stood in a way that prevented me from leaving. I had to ask her to please move so I could exit with my children. After we left, a gentleman from the church came outside to speak with us. He was very kind, apologized for the experience, and invited us to come back inside. I appreciated his kindness and apology, but ultimately we decided to leave. As someone returning to church after being away for quite some time, this experience was disappointing. I understand that safety and seating concerns may arise, but the way situations are handled matters, especially for families who may already feel nervous about attending for the first time. I had my niece with me since she was visiting and she even said, "wow that lady was rude, back home at our church everyone is nice and welcoming."

Jesus is MOVING at Radical Church. This place is filled with people who are on fire for Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is boldly moving. I’ve been coming to Radical for almost a year, and my life has radically changed for the better since then. The way Jesus has met me even more so than ever before since I’ve been here has been absolutely life changing and I am so grateful to God for what he’s doing here, the people he’s introduced me to, and for all that he has for this church. If you’re looking for a new church home, this is certainly a place you will be welcomed into and fit right in, no matter what your walk has looked like. Jesus is for me. Jesus is for you. Jesus is for everyone.

I never thought I’d find my home church after years of being away from the church. But after attending Radical in Fall 2024, I knew I found my home church. Jesus is the heart of Radical Church and this church never fails to show the radical love of Jesus to anyone and everyone who walks through the church’s doors. If you are searching for a home church in Hays County, this is your sign. God bless!

We've only been here 3 or 4 times but I think we've found our church. It's small and in an unassuming area/building but Pastor Trevor has a special knack for sharing the Word. He reminds me of a young Pastor Rick kind of personality and he has a skill for making our time in church, both educational and entertaining. We arrive late because we're not big on the music portion but it's really full so try the first and last services if you prefer more space! See you there.
