Radiant Heart Dharma Center has been treasured space for me to slow down and reset. The meditation sessions are well-led and approachable, whether you’re brand new or have been practicing for a while. The discussions are also very pleasant and help me connect to the meditation and reading we cover. What stands out most is the community. The people here are genuine, grounded, and easy to connect with. I always feel at ease here. I highly value the supportive community of friends I have made during my tenure here. There is no pressure to behave in certain ways here. I just have a kind, compassionate environment to be myself within. If you’re looking for: (1) a place to clear your head, and (2) to spend some time with good people, Radiant Heart is worth checking out

Radiant Heart is a beautiful space with wonderful people. It absolutely changed my life for the better! The group's leader, Michael, is a wonderful, kind, gentle soul with a vast array of knowledge about Tibetan Buddhist practices. He, along with other members, leads multiple different groups which bring about clarity, compassion, understanding, and sincerity, while digging into the rich culture of these teachings and helping people connect with their best selves. This absolutely happened for me. I couldn't recommend this group more! 🧘♂️📿😊🕉

I have been to a lot of spiritual centers and retreats over the years, and a lot of them had a door that didn’t always feel wide enough. Radiant Heart Ministry feels different. From my first visit, it felt like I had a seat at the table. This isn’t a community that offers just a performance welcome, they truly live it. The Recovery Dharma meetings, Sound baths and the yoga practice, are rooted in connection and healing. There is sincerity in this place that you can feel. The people that gather here are not just pretending to be on a path, they are walking it, together, with honesty and vulnerability. Every time I leave, I feel held by people that don’t ask me to be anything other than what and who I am. For anyone who is spiritually hungry but worn down by dogma or exclusion, this might just be the space for you.

I genuinely don’t even know where to begin with this place, but if I can save even one person from wasting their time, emotional energy, and gas money, it’s worth writing this. First of all, this is marketed as a “meditation group,” but what you actually walk into feels more like a chaotic mix of spiritual ego, watered-down philosophy, and people trying very hard to sound enlightened without actually saying anything of substance. There is a LOT of talking… and very little actual meditating. The person leading it seems far more invested in being perceived as wise than in creating a grounded, respectful, or genuinely welcoming space. Any time someone asks a real, sincere question, it gets deflected into vague, cryptic language that somehow manages to avoid antswering anything at all. And then there’s the cultural aspect, which honestly made me deeply uncomfortable. There’s a noticeable pattern of borrowing from multiple spiritual traditions with very little understanding or respect for where those practices actually come from. It feels less like thoughtful integration and more like aesthetic cherry-picking. More than half the group openly refers to themselves not as bhuddists, but as “spiritual mutts,” which might be said jokingly, but in practice it comes across as dismissive of the cultures and traditions they’re pulling from. Sacred concepts get stripped of context and turned into buzzwords, and no one seems particularly interested in honoring their origins. The overall vibe is also just… off. There’s this subtle pressure to conform to their specific “understanding” of spirituality. If your perspective differs even slightly, you can feel it immediately, like you’ve broken some unspoken rule. It’s not open-minded, it’s quietly judgmental under the surface. Instead of leaving feeling calm or centered, I left feeling irritated, talked over, and somehow more mentally cluttered than when I walked in. Which is kind of impressive, considering the entire point is supposed to be the opposite. If you’re looking for genuine presence, equanimity, or actual inner work, this is not it. If you’re looking for a place where people enjoy hearing themselves sound “deep” while casually appropriating entire traditions, then you might love it. I will absolutely not be returning

Great place to encounter the buddha dharma, the Recovery Dharma meetings on Wednesdays are so wholesome and welcoming. Very grateful to have such a wonderful place close to home. For those curious this is Tibetan style, but is welcoming to all
