I have been attending Providence for 2 years and a member of Providence for a little over a year. My husband and I were members at a reformed church before Providence that was incredibly legalistic. The pastor of that church preached as law things not found in scripture. There was no encouragement or hope in his sermons. They were lacking in the gospel. There was much hurt, confusion, and mistrust in that church. The elders lacked unity and so did the congregation. There was a nasty split and my husband and I were left wondering if, with such a lack of joy and peace, the reformed tradition was really where the truth of Christ lies. By the grace of God, we ended up at Providence. This church has been so healing for us. Pastor Bob teaches with truth and love. The gospel is presented every time and you are left with hope and encouragement yet not at the expense of conviction from God's word. The people are some of the friendliest I have ever met. Every week my husband and I find ourselves staying up to 2 hours after the service chatting with our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. The elders are on the same page with one another and they shared with us that they had experience with similar situations to what we had dealt with. Hearing how they handled those situations was very encouraging to us. If you are searching for truth, grace, friendship, and encouragement in living out your walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, come to Providence! You are welcome here.

Nice place and people seemed nice enough. Very good sermon and biblical service, beautiful hymns. I would just caution anyone with small children. As my family found a seat before service, an older woman came from another section of seating and didn’t even bother to acknowledge me while taking my five year old son by the hand and asking him the usual questions about his name and age. I took his hand from her and asked her who she was and she said her name was Caroline. I politely told her that I was uncomfortable with strangers talking to my child and she didn’t seem to understand why that would seem odd to someone visiting for the first time. She had some kind of fingerless gloves on both hands so I have no idea if her hands were clean to be touching my child without permission. Will definitely not be attending again. Entitled old people at best and creepy at worst.

A great church with great people and a Pastoral staff that takes the preaching of God's Word seriously. If you want to hear scripture faithfully proclaimed, this is where to be.

Friendly, God loving people. The sermon was Bible based and spoken in a manner everyone could understand.

Cozy and refreshing. I don't live near this area, but I recently attended an event held here. I would likely frequent this church if I lived closer.

I think it's the best church in the Pflugerville/ east Round Rock area and the best Reformed church in the greater Austin area.

As a church affiliated with the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), it has a more conservative tone compared to most Korean immigrant churches. However, if you are comfortable with the language (English), I believe you can live a life of faith that recognizes the reality of heaven as a member of a covenant community that worships God and fellowships in the Lord. Even if you struggle with English, there's no need to worry. Because there are several Koreans among the congregation, you can receive active interest and support in your religious life. "Preaching the Word, understanding it, and applying it correctly" are both a duty and a right as citizens of God's kingdom.
