Sadly the Executive Pastor and Lead Pastors, Weyland and Afshin have failed to understand the seriousness of the pulpit. I mean this as sincerely as possible, but the sermons, the disposition, the joking in the pulpit, and the lack of a …

Loved the church. Message is from God. So thankful to find this church. One negative thing is, certain women were dressed inappropriately! Plz say something about it. I saw one women was wearing strapless tops. Come on! How can you dress like that anywhere!?! As a Christian, we are supposed to dress modestly (no sleeveless, shorts, tight dresses, swimsuit or anything revealing)

Amazing Church! Verse by verse biblical teaching, Christ centered worship. Children’s ministry (prov kids) engages children in biblical truths that point them to Jesus. Youth Student ministry (ignite) pours biblical truth into the youth. They have a heart to equip each and every student with the tools for a biblical , gospel centered perspective in life. Resources are wonderful in equipping the congregation to be the church outside of the the walls of gathering. Their mission statement stands true “We exist to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel, in community, and on mission.” Leadership is phenomenal and always willing to answer any questions. Overall this church is many members of various walks in life with one thing in common we are united by Christ. While providence is a growing church I highly recommend not only attending Sunday services but I encourage committing to a community group, joining the Bible studies and taking part in the many classes offered throughout. Engaging in what providence has to offer for its church is how you get to know it’s members and build community!

The Holy Spirit is here! My husband and I had been searching around Frisco for a church and we are so grateful we found Providence. Their worship isn’t flashy and they explain why we are worshiping the songs! I always cry during their worship in a good way! Their preaching is spot on with scripture and they don’t preach a “feel good” message. Many times I leave feeling convicted and that’s how it should be! We are so thankful we found our new church home.

Great church! Very inviting and friendly. The Sunday services are fantastic, awesome worship music and a great message every Sunday! My wife and I moved to the Frisco area and started looking for a new church to plug into. When we visited Providence we could tell we found what we were looking for; a family of believers dedicated to Christ and reaching our community with the Gospel. Providence has been a huge blessing for us and we love the community and connection we have at our Church.

Our family moved to Texas three years ago and plugged into Providence and Providence Students with our high school and middle school aged children. Our kids have absolutely loved it! We have been thrilled with the engaging Bible instruction; focus on Gospel-centered living; and the depth of teaching, fun, and relationships that have been formed through Providence Students over the last few years. We highly recommend it! As parents, we are thankful for the support of resources provided on parenting/discipling our children through the teen years!

We love our Providence Church Frisco Family! The teaching is spot on biblically, the worship is uplifting, and we feel a great sense of community here. This is the healthiest church environment we have ever been in. Every week we pray for other churches, local schools, and unreached people groups. The leadership is not intent on being #1, they are intentionally keeping Jesus Christ as #1, as it should be. We rejoice with other churches success, we grieve when we here other fellowships have experienced loss, all the while doing our best to stay in community (lots of opportunities there from Bible study, Community Groups, to volunteering, and more). There is an actual plan to bring the Word of God from the youngest to the oldest person in our congregation. Afshin Ziafat is the lead pastor although he gives plenty of space for other pastors in our fellowship, along with other guest pastors, time to share. This is not a one man band type church. Come check it out, whatever your age, or stage of belief you are in -- you certainly will not regret it!

Providence Church has been such a blessing to me and my family. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted by someone who actually cares who you are and why you are there. The children's ministry is so open and welcoming. They never water down the gospel for my children!!! Pastor Afshin is a wonderful, godly, follower of Christ. He has been blessed with a special ability to speak God's truth and he does not shy away from it.

I was originally going to another church when a friend of mine invited me to this church. Although I was nervous at first, these people were so welcoming and kind. In everything they teach and do they put God first. I now regularly go to the youth on Sunday nights and have gone to camp with them the past two years. This church is Christ centered and loving to everyone who goes!

Moved to the area with my husband just before the pandemic. We were looking for a church that met 2 requirements for us. #1 Verse by verse. Sticks to Gods Word. #2 A diverse church that excludes no one(we’re going to start a family & wanted to be a part of a church with people of all ages, cultures, & races). Providence surpassed our expectations. They have great programs for kids of all ages, really loving staff, & their services are saturated with the Word & end on time. This is our new church home.

Updating this review after 4 years here at the church. Still 5 stars, but let's call it time-tested. In this place we've found a community of believers who sincerely love the Lord and want to know Him more. That overflows into their …

I've been a member of Providence for a little over 8 years now and I have loved every moment of my time spent with this family. Afshin is amazing at sharing the gospel in every message and brings every text back to the good news of our …

Providence Church has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the worship time was gospel centered and the message was both Biblical and applicable with an exhortation to make disciples. A great church if you are needing a place to belong!

Smaller church, the goal is really to be a community together and wants everyone to feel like it's their family. He reads through the Bible, first he will tell you what to expect then he reads, and asks what you thought. It is easy to feel at home in this church.

A great church and family. The preaching is God glorifying and biblically centered. Expositional preaching is rare to find, especially good expositional preaching, and this is that rare find. The music is lead by the one and only Matt …

The last time I went here, one of the “teachers” made rude comments about what I believed. I understand that different churches have different theologies but this so called teacher was egocentric and pompous. I never went since then.

It’s a nice church with some simple basic Biblical doctrine. I would definitely rate it 5-stars if this church stuck to the 1611 King James Bible ONLY. So many verses have been omitted and modified in the ESV, NIV, etc. Another problem I’m …

The church was asked to help an Innocent women be heard, who had started membership process @ Providence. Even help her by making a simple phone call. The church declined any aid.

Best church ever, been going there for 10 years. Bible loving church showcasing Tradition Christian Teaching in a non pretentious way.

This is the best church we've been to for community. It was really easy to get 'plugged in' and to meet other families near us.
