I really cannot put into words the aura that is in the atmosphere. There were black people, white people, Mexicans and Africans. People of all nationalities here with the sole purpose of praying. Visiting Prayer Mountain on a cool, beautiful morning was a truly restorative experience. The combination of refreshing weather and the natural surroundings created the perfect setting to slow down, quiet my mind, and genuinely enjoy a sense of peace, both spiritually and in nature. Because I visited on a weekday morning, I essentially had the entire space to myself, which made the experience feel even more personal and unhurried. The seating area offered a lovely view overlooking Arlington, and simply taking in that scenery was more than enough to make the visit worthwhile. While I didn’t have the opportunity to explore the full grounds, I could see that the walking paths lead to additional seating areas throughout the property, something I look forward to discovering on a future visit with more time to spare. Overall, Prayer Mountain is a beautiful, peaceful retreat that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a meaningful place to reflect, connect with God, or simply find stillness away from the noise of everyday life.

Heard about this beautiful place in the newspaper, and me and my family were camping in the area so we figured we’d come and check it out. Such a beautiful, peaceful, and serene place. There’s tons of picnic tables available and the hiking trails we did were great. Although they can be kinda confusing to follow and so is the map. There are tons and tons of trails tho and we definitely would have done more had it not been 95 degrees out! I can definitely tell this area has tons to offer. From the church itself, to the rentable pavilions, to the beautiful scenic overlooks that let you see for miles. This is a perfect representation of how God is genuinely all around us and can be found in more places than just a church. I definitely recommend checking this area out! ✝️🌅

i luv this place but is not the same anymore ever since they started closing at 10pm ....i know some ppl did stuff out here they shoudnt but...the ppl who come up here to pray n worship shoudnt get punish for it....now u can even have music lil loud up here because security is gng tell u to put it down... supposively bec neightbors can hear it 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ no one lives near the mountain....n on top of that they start kicking u out by 9:30pm...this place is about seeking God..i think ya should consider being open 24/7 again...come up with a new strategy..like a membership or something ... bearly any ppl come up here anymore bec ppl use to love being up here all night to pray....

Highly recommend!!!!! Some people carry it. Some people bury it. But today… I left mine here. On this bridge, surrounded by prayers written by strangers who were just trying to breathe again, I realized something we’re all holding onto things that were never ours to carry in the first place. So I gave it back. The hurt, the confusion, the questions, the weight of things I can’t control… all of it. God didn’t ask me to figure it out. He asked me to trust Him with it. And maybe that’s what healing actually looks like, not having all the answers… but finally letting go. ✨🙏

The view from the top is stunning, providing a perfect setting to reflect and pray. Even with people around, there’s a calming atmosphere as you see others also praying and seeking God’s presence. You can truly feel God’s peace here, and it's a place where you can connect deeply with Him amidst the hustle and bustle of life.
