After nearly 8 months at Portrait Church, I can honestly say this place feels like home. When Pastor David and Jenna talk about their mission to "inspire generations to experience and express the love of Jesus," it's not just words on a wall , you actually feel it here. What drew me in initially was their invitation to "look again" at what I thought I knew about God, and church. This isn't your typical church where the pastor feels untouchable and cliques form in the corners. David and Jenna are genuinely approachable, and the community they've built reflects that same warmth. You can tell they really mean it when they say they're "Jesus people, not religious people." It's been amazing to watch Portrait grow and become such an integral part of Celina since it stated nearly a year ago. The church has this authentic, unfiltered approach to faith that feels refreshing. No pretense, just real conversations about God and life. If you're looking for a church where you can deepen your relationship with both God and people, Portrait really is worth a second look. (I never give 5 stars to anything I review. Nothing's perfect, but Portrait comes close)

Great atmosphere!! So welcoming and friendly. Come experience the love of Jesus at Portrait starting September 15 the official launch date. The worship team gets things started, and Pastor David always brings a great message. The children’s ministry is a place where the kids get a great lesson with fun activities. So if you are looking for a church, been out of church a while, no matter come to Portrait and Take Another Look!

Our family moved to the area last November. We knew we would want to plug in somewhere quickly in order to meet people and find our tribe and community. The people of this church have been so welcoming, and we felt right at home the first time attending. I remember leaving and telling my husband, "I'm not sure that could have gone any better" and he smiled and agreed. Pastor David has a clear heart for God with such an intentional way of teaching and reaching with THE BIBLE, something that was very important to us in looking for a church. Pastor Ryan from the worship team is not only incredibly talented, he is also extremely personable. Great qualities for quality leadership in both of them. Thank you, Portrait! So glad we looked again.

At first I was a little apprehensive to leave a church that my wife and I had just started attending a year prior to become a part of a pop-up / plant church. Looking back it was one of the best decisions I have made, everyone at Portrait Church is so inviting and welcoming and I am happy to call this church my home 7 months later! My wife and I dove head first into serving here and have not looked back! I hope to see you there!

Pastor David and Jenna are amazing and the whole environment is welcoming and supportive in spreading the love of Jesus. This church feels like home from the start, there is a place for everyone. Portrait Church feels like coming home. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the warmth and welcoming atmosphere. Pastor David Smullin delivers heartfelt, thought-provoking messages that really speak to the soul. And Aleshia, the children's director, does an incredible job creating a fun, engaging environment for the kids. The children's programs are top-notch and my toddler left with a big smile and asking to come back. Portrait Church has a true sense of community. Everyone is so friendly and eager to make newcomers feel included. It's clear that this is a place where people genuinely care about each other and are there to support one another. The worship services are uplifting and the congregation is actively involved. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Portrait Church. If you're looking for a church that will make you feel loved and valued, I highly recommend visiting Portrait Church.
