After moving here I was looking for my church family when I went to Pin Oaks. Met Pastor Phil and later decided I wanted to join and ready to serve. after 2 calls and left messages And no return call now going on 2 weeks I finally called and was able to talk to pastor Phil. After our conversation on how I can serve he was going to have the youth pastor call me and also get back to me afterwards. Never heard back from anyone. I felt so disheartened that it took me almost a year to post this, I guess not a family church that was interested in me.

We were looking for a church home in Anna and decided to visit Pin Oaks. Almost 4 years later, it's still our church home. Wonderful people who care for one another and Pastor Phil is not afraid to preach the gospel the way it was intended, no holding back. Helping people meet Christ and grow in that relationship. Wonderful church.

Phil Morgan, our pastor, is gifted with scripture, and talks directly with God, while it's the only explanation for how he's able to find messages that apply to a wide audience, so personally; that nearly all who leave his Sunday service feel the sermon was created for their ears only. We were never the kind of people to go to church, to read our Bible, or to find ways to bring God into every conversation, but PinOaks has a contagion, like being bitten, and being forever changed. I don't see any other local church's members so heavily saturating social media with biblical references, with inspirational testimonials in public pages, and with such a focus to help heal, with prayers, in the comment area of posts, like the women of PinOaks do. There seems to be an unspoken language that resides in all of us that we are failing God by holding the secret of PinOaks and its life changing authority, so we take every opportunity to bring one more person in, one more family in, as often as we see a person suffering. We live in a peculiar time where celebrities, politicians, films, influencers, and society, is turning to God, publicly, openly, and abruptly, changing their belief systems, openly speaking about God, and Christianity, in their lifesaving effects. Trusting our resource for biblical information is just as important as taking steps to become more connected, what a waste of genuine sincerity if one should visit the wrong church while so vulnerable, and eager, to learn. PinOaks asks you come as you are, no dressy attire required, and provides a children's ministry that is best in class. They offer a ministry of close relationships, as a means to keep our family of members together. This is a community, a marketplace, a holistic health care center, a career center, a marriage counseling agency, a women's empowerment organization, a men's retreat, with subcategories of dozens of smaller groups throughout the church, throughout the week, and carries through online, in each other's homes, and even offers a Christian hybrid school K-12. The mission is to grow our relationship with Jesus but what happens in that relationship is the discovery of a family of people who are focused on every member, on every child, on every problem, and in that relationship comes every missing element of an enjoyable life. Since becoming members of PinOaks, our lives have improved beyond knowing scripture. We are happier, more successful, more knowledgeable, more connected, more adventurous, more wise, and proudly enter God into every conversation knowing anyone who might enter our door, can be changed into the people they've always wanted to be. With God, ALL things are possible, and don't we ever challenge God with this, asking him to make possible what we never knew we were capable of. It is a beautiful phenomenon, spirituality, that what you put into it, it becomes you, instantly. With all my heart, with all I am, thank you for being our home.

On February 13, 2022, we entered the doors of PinOaks Christian Fellowship in Anna. We often say a part of ourselves was waiting inside for us; so that we could finally feel complete. This is not a building with an address featuring and a pastor who stands at a podium, nor is the band a group of people singing and playing instruments; this is an extension of God's every wish of what a church, a pastor, a worship team, and a family of Elders, should be. Pastor Phil Morgan seems to have prepared sermons direct from God and God ushers into the seats the people who need to hear it and be changed by it; for no matter what age, what background, what ethnicity, or what brokenness we bring into this church, his word, his humor, his passion for getting through, seems to feel like its been written for just me; except everyone else feels this way. Off the record, his personality shines, his love for healing, for fixing what's broken, is met with humility, grace, and a gift of friendship. He's trustworthy, merciful, and knowledgeable, plus he's just great to be around.. he's proof that we can be normal people and be Christians, that spiritually advanced does not mean unrelateable. There is not a single Sunday that we aren't looking forward to, not a single sermon that disappoints. When I heard might step into my spiritual maturity, what was meant is its a lifetime experience of the greatest life I've known. The experience of PinOaks dares you to try to minimize your Sunday morning to visiting and walking out when the sermon is over; for us, every Sunday becomes another day my family has grown up, spread out, looked within, and dived under, all within an embrace only found in the family of PinOaks. I cannot imagine what life would be like without the support and love found within this my church family, I'll spend my life in gratitude for the gift they've given to me, to my husband, and my children, amd to all who we happen to reach with our testimony. Thank you PinOaks, you are all very special to us, I cannot say enough about our love for all of you.

I was so so blessed to be gifted at Christmas to come to this church for a beautiful candle light service. Tears kept coming down my face. I've been out of the church for 4 months living at the Samritan Inn in Mckinney. I felt so cut off from the body there. It was a super blessing to come and worship corporately. God inhabits the praises of His people. Loved the sermon about even in the darkness God is there...mentioning the psalms and Job. I was wowed at the opening little drummer boy on the kettle drums. I LOVE DRUMS!!!! (having worked for 15 years learning of the native nations). It's a heartbeat unto the Lord. I was also blessed by the reminder that even in darkness one little candle can warm one's face so gently and thoroughly. The darkness has not and will not overcome God's people. Amen and shalom!
