My husband, son and I have been attending Outerwest for a little over two years. Our journey to call this our home church involved visiting and listening to online to various churches in San Antonio. We did not care how far we would need to drive so long as we found a church that focused on God and His message vs their own agenda. After listening online, it felt like a breath of fresh air. After attending, we felt we belonged. A diverse congregation, staff and volunteers speaks volumes. When many are leaving ‘church’ for various reasons and when attendance leaves them feeling empty, OWCC is one that helps fill that space with God’s message and helps make God’s message relevant to their lives. My bible is on my phone, there are bibles available for anyone that wants to take one and most importantly, it is an accepting and rational community. In a season where it seems churches have idols in pastors they follow virtually or manipulate their congregation with subtle suggestions, true God following and God focused churches are becoming hard to find. A little over 2 years later, we are still here. Take this as your sign to follow Jesus and attend OWCC or a God focused church, whether you have been disenchanted, deceived or are new around town. Authentic churches still exist.

I see some folks making one impression ratings on this church, frankly I find it unfair and reckless. Let me tell you my observations of this church, it leads with acts it includes all families of all type, you have a child with special needs, we got you, you are a single mom that needs community, we got you, your a growing family trying to learn how to walk biblically, we got you, there is a people group with low resources we got you, there is a cold storm coming to texas and you need a place to be warm? We got you. In todays age its hard to battle what social media disses out, and easy to stray away from gods message. This church is young, unorthodox in the leaders that server here, and i think its a great place to grow in the lord. Pastors try their best to speak from the word and will challenge its congregation to think differently or at least question things. My tidings go to this church and though it hurts sometimes I am constantly reminded that it’s getting out to good use and not abused. So, give the place a chance, go month and decided if this is the place for you, don’t make the mistake of going once and walking away.

From the moment I first started going to this church, I knew this was the one. Receiving the word of God straight from the Bible, and the Holy Spirit is really felt here. Try it out a couple of times, and you will feel comfortable here.

When I first went to this church I noticed how warm and friendly everyone was. They made me feel like I wasn’t an outsider and that I was right at home. The second thing I noticed was the temperature of the sanctuary. I’ve been to churches that are far too cold and far too hot. But this church, this church was just right. I wasn’t sweaty and I wasn’t shivering either. One of the pastors there one time wore Air Michael Jordan’s on stage and I really appreciated that cause I felt like I could open up about my struggles. Some churches everyone’s wearing a suit and tie and it makes me want to retreat in my shell like a turtle. All in all this church is exactly what my wife and I were looking for and I’m so grateful a community of faith like this exists in my area. It’s also 5 min down the street from my house. I def recommend this church to everyone seeking fellowship and fun the in Alamo Ranch area!! 5 out of 5!

I loved the worship music but I'm concerned that the church is not encouraging Godly behavior. The pastor never asked the congregation to open their Bibles and looking around I only saw a very small % of the members bring a Bible. There were no Bibles available in the sitting area either. The pastor only focused on one verse in Matthew 4, then he jumped around the Bible. I will probably not go back, I was so excited to visit but I was very disappointed. I gave 2 stars because the worship music was very good. Blessings. ✝️🙏

OWCC has truly been a blessing in my life. It is a genuine community of acceptance, guidance, support, and growth. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and valued. The messages are encouraging and rooted in God’s Word, and the fellowship is uplifting and authentic. This is a place where faith is nurtured, friendships are formed, and hearts are strengthened. I am so grateful to be part of such a loving and Christ centered community.

Visited here today from Mission, TX with my family to witness my brother's baptism! What a beautiful church! I really enjoyed the worship and the Pastor's message before and during the baptisms. My children really enjoyed the Children's church as well and my son was excited to tell me the message they studied today. I Praise God that this is my brother's church home and I know he will continue to grow in Jesus through the work being done at Outer West Community Church!
