Friendly and welcoming Church. I was traveling through Fort Stockton and decided to visit a local church to light a couple of candles for relatives who had passed away, and for family members who needed help. The parishioners had just finished mass on a Monday, and we're about to close the church. They kept the church open for me, and even found candles that weren't readily available at the time. These are humble people, doing God's work. A welcome experience in today's troubled times.

The People of this Parish are what make it special. The church itself is beautiful but the people of Fort Stockton make it a beautiful place to visit and we were so blessed to celebrate Mass with them, thank you.

I’m sorry but this is still The United States of America and we still speak English and there should be a mass in English only at all Catholic Churches. At 73 I do not understand Mexican and do not intend to learn it.
