Im not Catholic anymore but I had attended a funeral for a friend. Every thing looks the same but the monotonous repitition of chanting annoyed me. There is a scripture from Christ that teaches how one should pray. We are not to be repeating and chanting.

Attended and met Father Jerzy. What a charmer. He (and the congregation by default) is blessed in being multi-lingual. At least Spanish, English, Polish that I could notice
