I've visited this church twice, and unfortunately both experiences were negatively affected by the same usher. Each time, she was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I was asked to move over to make room, which wasn't the issue. It was the rude manner in which it was done. First impressions matter, especially for visitors, and these interactions made me feel unwelcome. As a result, I do not plan on returning.

This is my church home ! They really mean "No one walks alone" Even though it's a multi site church the small groups give you the family feel you've been seeking. My son is learning to walk with God while modeling Christ in Students classes. He enjoys learning leadership and worship thru the strings ensemble . Stop by and see for yourself.

What an honor it is to serve alongside so many amazingly faithful, loving, & caring believers. I'm so grateful for the experiences they intentionally create for students.

I have visited many churches this past 6 months and let me tell you this church is amazing everything about it from the entry greeting and the amazing worship service to the absolutely best service with knowledgeable pastors that show nothing but compassion and love to everyone, my teenage granddaughters love coming here as well, highly recommended🌟

my niece loved this church. She thinks that it is beautiful, personable, encouraging she’s learned so much thus far and she’s excited to go every Sunday.

I've enjoyed the atmosphere, people, interaction and the preaching/teaching of how the Bible verses impacts our relationship with GOD on our daily and individual journey to better ourselves 🙏❤️ …

One Community Church Garland is a blessing! I see the growth of the church and the things to come!.. it’s the meeting brothers and sisters that inspire and encourage me is one of the reasons that keeps me coming back— *Parking - when it rains and the service goes over, parking can be challenging, but you thank GOD people are coming to church and coming on time! This is a blessed challenge to have and i thank GOD for the brothers due diligence. They are out there parking in all weathers in all seasons. *Greeters - they stay on point. they open the door with a smile! I feel welcomed every time! *Ushers - they guide and direct with a smile.. and they don’t hammer me down if I want to choose another seat.

I visited once this past Sunday loved that the church wasn't too big or too small and had opportunities for youth engagement within the church and the community. Upon arrival the children's choir sang for about 45 minutes, and announcements took about 15 minutes. After an hour of songs and announcements, the pastor delivered the sermon via an online broadcast shown on a screen. Because of this I The realize that I didn't get the true experience of seeing the preacher in person. overall experience felt structured like a corporate business with investors backing the church. The preacher spoke for about 35 minutes on the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). He related the scripture to his family, mentioning acceptance and how his son wore a football jersey and head and arm bands to church once. He also mentioned another son wearing nail polish. Personally, I grew up dressing up for church out of respect. Most members in attendance were dressed in business casual attire, which I prefer. If people can respect dress codes at work and restaurants, I prefer a church that holds its members to a certain standard as well. The preacher also touched on the LGBTQ community but struggled to articulate his stance, leading to assumptions. Overall, it was a great environment but I prefer a more traditional Church of God. Although the word was short I got a great message out of it but wish the preaching was longer than the choir, etc...

I visited One Community Church Garland 3 times. Here, you will watch a recorded sermon on a big screen. Feels pretty odd. Also, I requested to be connected to a life group 3 times. I even spoke to someone in person and was never connected to a life group. The word "community" is in the name, but I didn't find community here. And churches wonder why so many of them are empty. Not too many reasons to go. All they want to do is collect money. AND parking is terrible...
