One City, A Community Lost to Division, Not Faith I once cherished One City, its events, its sense of community, its promise of unity. But what stands before me now is a shadow of that vision, a place where faith has been hijacked by political fervor and blind allegiance. The very individuals who once welcomed me now defend the indefensible, arguing passionately why a felon belongs in the pulpit and why hate should be tolerated in the house of God. Never in my years have I felt so unwelcome in a so-called "Christian" space. The rot began with the treatment of our Hispanic brothers and sisters in One City Español. They were invited to serve-feeding the English-speaking congregation only to be dismissed with leftovers, used for convenience and then discarded. For a time, I sought solace elsewhere, and there, I found warmth and genuine kindness. Yet even there, the poison of division seeped through, with "Latinos For Trump" propaganda proudly displayed by a few. Not all, mind you, but enough to taint my well of peace. In the main services, members worship shoulder-to-shoulder with those spewing hate, twisting scripture to fit their rage-filled agendas. They preach exclusion while claiming Christ, their faith warped into a weapon. If you seek a church that embodies true unity, compassion, and love: the very essence of Jesus’ teachings- turn away from One City. Minorities are not just sidelined; they are silently scorned. Black members are met with suspicion, and Hispanics are met with whispers. Until the congregation confronts this darkness, until leaders like Charli Kirk are no longer celebrated, I and many others will not return to this cult of political zealotry masquerading as faith. To those who remain, hear this: critique is a gift. Use it to reflect, repent, and rebuild: or turn a blind eye, as so many have before. But know this: the world, and more importantly our Lord is watching. "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." (Galatians 6:7)

This church is trying to put a hotel out of business for no reason, so I will NOT be coming back here.

This place opened it's doors to Operation Blessing to use and make their own. We had excellent sleeping arrangements and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were adequate for the large group of men and women who came to volunteer after hurricane Harvey and called this place home for a few days. Thanks again!

Thank you to this church for allowing Christian Aid Ministries to set up their base here, while reaching out to the needy people in this area, helping them with cleanup and rebuilding their homes, after the hurricanes. This was from 2017 to 2021. God bless you for being so generous!

Vibrant, thriving, active, compassionate family of believers! Wouldn't want to do church anywhere else. Its the real deal. If you are missing meaty sermons packed full of the word and wisdom, theres none better than Pastor Feldschau's messages. The worship is off the chain also. Love this place.
