I went to the church a few times. I had a great experience. I did not join because I was just visiting from out of state. The preacher said to fill out a form and leave your phone number and he would call you and he really did to see what your needs are, they also offer an amazing food bank. They are committed to serving their community and are very professional. Also, they have great parking lot security, and plenty of parking.

I have been attending Bethel church with my cousin Jacqueline and Warren Kochinksy! I have been enjoying every moment of the service! Even when she had choir practice I could feel the peace of God! Pastor Augustine is Amazing Pastor! And God’s Presence is undeniable!

This is my church home & my family has been extremely blessed from being active members here. Their contribution to the surrounding community is amazingly strong standing and impactful. The youth ministry is outstanding with great leadership and activities that focus on our youth. My children truly enjoy going weekly. From they’re sports, to youth service and Bible study. Even when I’m tired and may think to miss a Sunday or Wednesday service… my kids insist that we go. So… we go faithfully. Pastor August is personable and consistent in his leadership, and delivery of God’s word. Bible based worship and fellowship. I’m truly grateful for being able to be apart of such a great church community-family. ❤️

Hello, today I went to ask for help and I volunteered and what a disappointment they took me they treated me like a thief when it wasn't here I put my bag on a table to grab it well and a Mr. Moreno told me to steal sodas which was not true I left disappointed crying because according to them they were going to give me a box with more food since I'm from a large family and they gave me lies they didn't give me anything a paper bag with 6 cans and expired cereal no fruits I saw how other people were given 8 boxes quantities Big. I'm not going again. I came back so I could use the bathroom and a brunette rudely told me what you want to do here. I felt rejected. The manager told me to come back tomorrow Friday I don't know whether to go or not. One seeks help, not discrimination.

My experience at The Church at Bethel’s Family has been nothing short of Amazing. My children and I have a firm foundation. I have learned how to pray by the teachings of Bros. Davis and my boys who are now young men are well equipped for life’s challenges through the Beacon Boy’s led by Bros. David then. Pastor August responds to calls and text personally. Seeking God through the message on a Church pamphlet changed my life literally overnight. When I tell you the church has EVERYTHING you need… I am a living witness that it does. Currently today the M.O.M’s ministry and Sister 2 Sister brings hope, uplifts, and guides women of all ages through connection and genuine love. To God Be the Glory!

Pastor Walter August is an awesome leader of faith and intentions. A church that is centered in hood on purpose. Loving and teaching people of the community on purpose.. A church that feed the physical and spiritual on purpose. Classes teaching finances, parenting, childhood trauma, mental health just to name a few, on purpose. Father God thank you for Pastor August, keep him protected and this beautiful church family.

I fell in love with the church the first Sunday I visited. I preached a funeral and Pastor August was there. I said since he heard me, I'm going to go hear him. I visited the next Sunday went home Monday around 4 in the morning, GOD woke me up and told me Bethel was my new church home. I joined the following Sunday, A Real Church For Real People. One thing I love about Pastor August is his humility, don't have all these armor bearers around him like he's the POTUS. Rev. Larrie Malbro

Love that there are 3 services to choose from. Some of us are not early risers. Pastor August is down to earth and has no problem sticking to what the Word says regardless of who doesn’t agree. He is a very generous and humble man; always giving to the community. He is a firm believer knowing that God blesses us so we can be a blessing to others!
