I love my church family!! I love their authentication and there’s always a spiritual movement when I walk in that place you can feel the presence of the Lord here!! Nothing else like it!! Barney is the truth!!!!

Unfortunately, my experience with this church was deeply disappointing. The young adults group lacked structure, purpose, and genuine spiritual engagement. It felt more like a loosely organized social gathering than a ministry committed to discipleship or growth. The youth pastor did not demonstrate the maturity, biblical knowledge, or leadership qualities necessary for someone in that role. It was difficult to take the teaching seriously, and it raised concerns about the overall direction of the church’s ministry. The services prioritized production value—lights, music, and atmosphere—far more than sound, biblical teaching. The focus on performance often overshadowed the message, leaving little room for real spiritual depth. There’s a strong culture of “excellence” that, in practice, seems more focused on appearances and financial contributions than on fostering a Christ-centered community. The repeated emphasis on giving felt excessive, especially in light of leadership lifestyles that seem at odds with the values they preach. I cannot in good conscience recommend this church to anyone seeking sincere, Scripture-based teaching and authentic community.

Oasis is where I truly encountered the presence of God 4, almost 5, years ago. I've never felt so at home in a church, because the people welcomed me in and loved me from the beginning! I have experienced salvation and the healing power of God at this wonderful place and I'm honored to call Oasis my home church!

My Family and I started going to Oasis a little over 3 years ago. The first time we walked in we were greeted with friendly and welcoming faces. There are not enough words to describe this church and the way they made my family and I feel when we walked in. We felt like family and still do!! We felt at home the first time we walked in and we knew we were exactly where God wanted us to be. The Pastors are more than incredible and have a heart to build true relationships with everyone in their congregation. They are so precious and have been there to encourage, uplift, guide and lead us on countless occasions. I can't say enough about them. I love Oasis Church and I am so honored to a part of what God is doing there!!

I have been going to Oasis for little over a year now, and I can remember my first time experience in Oasis Church being an "at home feeling". The worship and word of God is like no other church I have been to or experienced. I now call Oasis my home church with a unbelievable church family. Thank you Oasis for such a Spirit led, God driven, Hope giving church. Refreshing, Renewal, & Relationships, is our motto and it definitely is just that!!!

My family knew that this was our home the first time we visited. The people are warm, caring, genuine, and love The LORD. The youth and children's ministry are fantastic! Our son plugged into the youth ministry so easily and was accepted and made new friends very quickly and has grown spiritually. This is a church that you won't check your watch because the presence of God is definitely there as the people worship and as the pastor preaches. I'm EXCITED about this church and it's impact on the community. Love it, love it. Thank you LORD for leading us to Oasis Church!!!

This church is passionate about the gospel! The members and leadership have walked with my family through every season of life in the past 5 years. If you are looking for a place to encounter the presence of God, this is it! Authentic, God-fearing people who are hungry for a move of God!

My family has been coming to Oasis for about 8 months. Our lives have changed along with our hearts. This is not a church that has a pastor that makes you feel warm and fuzzy. He speaks truth and love from the pulpit. Oasis has shown me how to love people and realize that our job as the body is to love and let Jesus save. Can't say enough great things about this church. Come here and not only because you believe in Jesus but experience him in his house with awesome people!

A truly great church, but one humble suggestion. The pastor of this church is great, especially for the younger generation. He's in his younger 30's and in tune with the struggles the young crowd faces today. He is very caring and passionate about helping people in their walk with God. Many members are very welcoming and show great care and concern. They really make you feel at home. However, as someone who has been totally destroyed and defeated by the devil, and in search for a spiritual rebirth. I could not handle the intensity of the church. I am very weak right now, and if anyone else is in the shape I'm in now, I imagine it would be too much for them as well. I'm mainly speaking about the length of the church service. I went one time, as I was invited by very kind man who tried his best to help me, and I could not hold on to his hand because after two and a half hours of the service and it still going, I had to get up and leave. I noticed I also was the only man I'd say under 50 that had to sit down occasionally, and I felt personally guilty, like I appeared I wasn't as passionate about the Lord as them. Although nobody said or implied that to me, I just felt like I wasn't strong enough to be on their level. I felt like a beginner walking into an expert situation. With my damaged mind, my attention span is good for about 30 minutes, and with a healthy mind it's only about an hour, so I feel pretty confident with my opinion that things need condensing at this church. I feel like they can get the same message across and the same amount of worshiping, with more of impact in half the time. I feel like this intensity is possibly holding the church back from becoming something truly great, because passion, caring and love is there, and there is plenty of it. It just felt like there was way too much filler material in the service, and sometimes the point gets across better when it's just to the point. The singing felt a bit too long as well. I would say it went on for at least an hour if not more. As a musician of 20 years, I would love to help fine-tune their worship songs, because while they are very powerful, some of them become quite repetitive. This church is the real deal. There are real men and women of God here, and I would not doubt that pastor Leslie will go down as one of God's personal favorites of this generation in this area, however there just needs to be some condensing and fine-tuning here, that way it's more appealing and comfortable to the very lost like myself who are barely hanging in there. If you're already very passionate about the Lord and you get kind of like a high and more energy from singing for him and hearing His word, then the church is definitely for you, however their main message is they are trying to save souls, but what they need to realize is those souls are weak, and the church needs to find a balance between appealing to those who are strong in the Lord, and those who are seeking the Lord. I mean no disrespect to pastor Leslie and his wife or the congregation here. I have a large amount of respect for you guys, and if you're not too upset about this review, I will probably return one day when I'm stronger, but for now, while I still need an intense in your face message, I'm having to settle for a church who service is about an hour long, and that seems to be the sweet spot for me right now. God bless you all and I hope this gives you something to think about.

Love this place!! Everything about it is amazing! If you are in need of refreshing, renewal, or relationships it's the place for you! I leave better than I came every time I walk through the doors!! It is such a place of healing and restoration in so so many ways. The body that the Lord has gathered together here is so unique and fun. Thankful the Lord saw fit to lead us here to be apart of what he was doing!

Oasis Church has been my home for a little over 10 years now and I have grown so much in my walk with God. The people are honestly like family, if you want a place to go to and feel love when you walk in the door I can promise you'll feel it here. There is a fanominal youth ministry as well, that's how I got plugged in when I first started attending, I highly recommend to everyone to come check it out.

Oasis Church is literally an "oasis". A hidden gem in a dry place. I got saved when I was 16 years old. I was a hopeless teen, battling insecurities and an unstable home environment. My mother worked 3 jobs and I to this day don't know who my father is. I say that to say this. Statistics say I shouldn't be where I am today, and it's because Oasis Church was there for me. It's more than just a group of people who go to a building a couple times a week and hear a good word. This place and the people that make up the church has literally become my family. I don't know where I would be today without these incredible men and women of God. They've encouraged me to do better in school and strive to be the best me I could be. They showed me what a great work ethic and being excellent looks like. They taught me how to hear the voice of God. And more importantly, the relationships I've built over the years has helped me tremendously in my times of need, frustration, and brokenness. I highly encourage anyone to come visit at least once, and I can guarantee that your life will be forever changed! The leadership of this place is top notch! Everyone is so caring and relational! Every week I encounter the presence of God! As the young people would say, "We got wrecked!". I leave every week challenged to become better than I was before, and the best way I would describe the church would be "healthy". So if you want to experience this, if you're looking for a place to call home, lifelong relationships, if looking to expierence hope in a world that seems like there's no hope, and growth in your walk with God, I encourage you to come check it out! I guarantee you'll be welcomed with open arms!

We visited this church and immediately felt very welcome. The people here are kind and the pastor is very fun to learn from and to watch. The worship was also very good. I left off one star because I didn't feel as though the website is very forthcoming about the church's beliefs. I am not one to judge how others worship, so please read this for what it is. The church believes in speaking in tongues and other more supernatural practices. Again, there is nothing wrong with this, but we don't agree theologically. Had we known, we likely would not have tried this church in our search for a church home. The website does mention these beliefs and practices in a very veiled way at the bottom of their beliefs page. My only issue is that we left feeling uncomfortable because we weren't informed up front. I think sharing these beliefs more openly on the website will give some insight to those visiting. I do wish Oasis all the best in their mission to reach 10% of Hunt County.

Really wish I could give more stars but due to a very bad personal experience me and my family went through I had to give less stars....aside from that this is a church we're you truly feel God's presence!......just be careful who you talk to because even though they say "we/I love you" that phrase can have double meaning..

If your searching for a place of freedom, restoration, hope, and want to experience the fullness of God, then Oasis Church at Caddo Mills is the place to be. Searching for over a year for a “home church”, nothing in the area was quite as real and genuine of hosting the presence of God then Oasis Church. From the moment I walked in I felt like family. Never was it awkward or intimidating. I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, and come see what God has in store for you, you WILL leave transformed!

Im not kidding when I say this place is the real deal. Because of the Presence of God, the Leadership, and People. This has been my Home for 5 coming up on 6 years this October. Got saved here, filled with the Holy Spirit, and raised & released into ministry here. Oasis is AUTHENTIC, there is No Place Like Home! If your searching for a Real Place to Encounter a Real & Living God and be changed into a New Man, then I would highly recommend OASIS CHURCH of Caddo Mills.
