Went on a day a Guest Speaker preached. Now the preaching was amazing! However, she was a guest speaker, so not sure how regular service is there. Would I be back, no. Unfortunately, it's too big that you just feel your going to a church and leaving. No human interaction to greet us, no one to direct us where to go to check in a toddler, just lots of signs on where to go. No one asked if we needed help. Just felt like we had to figure everything on our own. As a new visitor I didn't feel welcomed.

The word, the music and the people. Reaching people with Gods word and bringing them to baptism. There’s a feeling of love and enthusiasm. Travis and Max just reached me in a way that has opened my heart and my mind. There’s something for everyone. I also think we have a great music team. A great mix of traditional and contemporary.

I remember hearing some of the sermons here, and they weren’t really personally moving. They sounded more like self help speeches, actually. I felt the staff was rude, and didn’t like interacting with them. The crowd here definitely wasn’t for me.

There are so many good things about this church. I have always loved the preaching and i have attended for over a decade with some breaks as once i tried getting information about volunteering and was told since i was a single mom at the time i probably would not have time . After that i never inquired again as i have been very hurt in ministry at another church in my past . Currently, our son has been participating in Kids Praise last year he was in the play and Palm Sunday and other activities as well . This year during the play we ran into some conflict aside from road closures causing a longer commute and my son was having issues with his mild Autism and having a lot of homework and with the demand of rehearsals twice a week and getting home late . We are living across town i felt it was a little much for our situation but also my son still wanted to participate so I reached out to Kids Praise in an email explaining our situation and wondering if maybe he can participate in half the rehearsals even if it meant not being in the entire play as he was only a choir member not an actor . I felt his mild Autism was ignored as if i diagnosed him with this myself and there was just no compassion for anything i explained was just told every one was dealing with traffic and i was told more less there was no flexibility when even at school my son has 504 accommodations. I was patient and understanding and let them know he could not participate this time and i asked to stay updated and continue receiving emails and i noticed I hadn’t seen any after that my son had been asking about Palm Sunday this year and i realized I was not receiving emails so I emailed today to ask and was told very last minute rehearsals were tonight and I can only have the information for Kids Praise Palm Sunday only at rehearsals.knowing i was not receiving emails for some reason . This is just disheartening treatment .I want to know who i can talk to about this .

Oak Hills Church has truly been a blessing in my life. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed by the people. Coming from recent events with family that attends this church: I’m writing this review out of genuine concern, not bitterness. Scripture warns believers to be discerning, as “false prophets come in sheep’s clothing” (Matthew 7:15) and “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). Unfortunately, the teaching at this church reflects those warnings rather than the freedom of the Gospel. Messages often emphasize control, fear, and unquestioning obedience instead of humility, grace, and personal accountability before God. Forgiveness is taught without healthy boundaries, and Scripture is selectively used in ways that pressure rather than heal. Questioning leadership or doctrine is discouraged instead of being tested against the full counsel of Scripture. Galatians 1:6–8 strongly warns against preaching a distorted gospel, even when it comes from those claiming spiritual authority. Jesus never taught blind trust or spiritual coercion. A church should lead people closer to Christ, not into dependency on leadership. I encourage anyone considering this church to read the Bible for themselves and carefully discern what is being taught.
