  I just wanted to add this note and give a huge thumbs up to Kat Harper for her organization of the Connect Ladies Groups. This is my second year in participating in this Northside collaboration where each fall, women of Northside are selected and placed into groups of around a dozen women. Each month we decide on a meeting location, date, and an event in which to participate, with the summer months off. This month's event in my group was a Halloween Mystery party. It was sooo much fun!!! Next month is Singo Bingo. It's a wonderful place to meet women in Northside that you've possibly never met or spoken to before. It's for all adult women of all ages. If you have never participated, please make an effort to do so. New friendships are formed in these laugh-filled settings. I'm sooo glad I signed up! Very welcoming! Very genuinely nice people! I'd been looking for a new local church since my long, more than ten years, full-time caregiving duties ended this August...my 94-yr-old Mom passed. We hadn't been able to attend for sometime because of my Mom's limited mobile abilities. (Dad passed Feb.2020 at age 92.) Just didn't feel right leaving them at home while I went to church. In my search, I noticed David Brewer, a friendly face, was a bible study leader in one of Northside's classes. Someone who I knew from the past at Blooming Grove Elementary...the principal when my son attended 25 years ago. David was always very welcoming to me and was very much so this past Sunday. Also, Karen Cox and Tandra Williams made me feel right at home. Following bible study, the service was very entertaining, presented by Pastor Dan, with a spot-on presentation of today's youth and how today's parents are not the parents of the past. Very enlightening and quite humorously delivered! My first attendance happened to be on Thanksgiving meal day, where I met a few more very nice church members. I am happily impressed by the whole experience and will definitely go back. I think I've found my new church home!

  I decided to try a Wednesday night group at Northside Baptist Church. I felt welcomed right away. After that positive experience, I gave Sunday service a try, and that's when I truly found a church family. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming – it felt like I'd been going there forever! I know everyone's experience is different, but at Northside, they go the extra mile to make newcomers feel noticed and cared for. If you're looking for a church home, I highly recommend checking them out!

  Family members since 1983. Church teaches and preaches the Bible, Word of God. Pastor Daniel Harper and staff all lift up Jesus. Great fellowship and varied programs Children's, youth, adults a senior activities. Excellent choirs and orchestra, praise group Prepare to worship and be blessed 🙌

  Doctrine is important here. Great Bible teaching in English or Spanish. Come worship King Jesus with us! Sunday school starts at 9:45am worship service at 11:00am. Wednesday nights 5:00pm dinner 6:00 pm service.
