Every time I've come they've gone above and beyond for me and my baby and everybody that I've seen going up there. They feed feed feed and they give out free foods for homeless ppl and homes, dog food on certain days and cat food certain days. If there's any place to donate that u know that'll do for God's purpose u should here. If I decide to accept whatever's for me I know the path that God set before me and those who help deserve help as well. It really does feel like a family there it's chill, cool, and a blessing. Truly thankful for having New gate

If you find yourself homeless in Longview texas, it's a great advocate for you to transition back on yo feet. Many many great experiences here. I love a lot of people here.

Some of the staff is ignorant and talk about people like this place is a Maury show but when me and my kids need to eat, forget they ignorance, they still feed u and make room for u 2 sit down and get what u want to eat and give stuff to take so u continue to eat and that to me is all that matters and that's why they get a five star.

I have encountered numerous actions of ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR on the part of the staff at Newgate...People yell loudly at clients there; use foul language excessively and loudly and pick on the nick-pickiest, slightest instances of breaking of their very unreasonable and rigid rules and demands...Also, they have 'third parties' who interfere with clients' requests for more reasonable behavior, making it more difficult for clients...
