Such a warm, welcoming experience! We went to the Newberry cemetery to follow some family history/family tree. We happened to be at the right place at the right time. The church was just being opened for the 2nd Sunday of the month service. The wonderful, kind members of The Newberry Cumberland Presbyterian Church opened their arms and welcomed us right in. A truly remarkable experience was enjoyed!

Was actually looking for the Newberry Cemetery to try and locate a grave. The cemetery is quite old but decently kept. Many of the markers are just blocks of sand stone since many couldn’t afford a headstone. Unfortunately, the engravings on sandstone are worn off. Some are headstones are buried others are well kept. The site has a historical marker. If you are a buff, good place to visit

I've been a member of this over 150 yr old church for about 5 years. It is a small church in size but big on friendliness. We meet every 2nd and 4th Sundays, just like they did when they had a circuit preacher, at 11 am. We have a pot luck every Sunday after church. Come visit us!

Grew up in this church. Wish they would meet more often, but going here as a kid and teenager was a cherished memory.
