New Shores is a wonderful church. My family and I been going for about 6 months now. And we really do enjoy it. They have bible- based teaching. Great worship music and an outstanding youth program if you have any kiddos who are wanting to learn about Jesus and build a relationship with him.

This church is simply amazing! The youth program on Wednesday nights is top notch and you can see that the volunteers truly do care about the kids. The first thing you see when you walk in is a sign that says Welcome to Family and I can honestly say that you feel like family when you walk through those doors. If you are looking for a church, I highly recommend that you come to a service and check this place out. I've never experienced God working like I've experienced here.

My family and myself are new to this area of Texas. We tried several churches but just couldn't seem to find the one that was for us. The moment we walked into New Shores we knew we were home. Not being from here it is easy to feel like an outsider when you get to places but that is not what happens here. When you walk in you will see a sign that says Welcome To Family and that is exactly how it feels. We also have 4 kids ages 5 to 15 and the children and youth programs they have at New Shores are nothing short of amazing. My children could not be happier with the time they spend here. Every day you can see the church cultivating relationships with children to bridge families in our community. I truly believe the Lord has a purpose for this church and they have heard the message. They are building strong families by equipping them for a vibrant life in Jesus.

My wife and I finally found our church that we feel at home with and consider as family. We were welcomed with open arms from the moment we stepped thru the door. The pastor tells it like it is and preaches from the Bible and his heart. The children and youth services are awesome and a big difference maker in our community. New Shores is a welcoming church family for any and all weary sinners yearning for the truth of God's word. It was obvious to me, the first time I attended, that there was no judgment and/or isolation like I experienced in the past attending other churches searching for a sanctuary during hard times in my life. ATTENTION PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS: They do an excellent job of combating the challenges that come with living in this sinful world by providing an AWESOME Christian-based mid-week & Sunday morning children's program. I recommend this church wholeheartedly to EVERYBODY...and their preacher ain't too shabby either! See y'all there!

I was not raised in church as a child but about 2 years ago my husband and I were invited to church with a friend of ours. We were welcomed at the door and made to feel so at home. I began volunteering on Wednesday nights in the program they have with Sweeny ISD and I am now a pre school teacher in the Mother’s Day Out program. We are so grateful to have found our church home.

Every single person that works here and helps out with Wednesday nights for our kids is absolutely wonderful and amazing. If you want a church to go to pick them. Such kind and genuine souls and they love what they do.
