My name is James Funderburk and I love this church. I grew up in this church and was baptized there by Bruce Burke when I was 13. Everyone there was there for myself and my family when I got hit by two 18 wheelers leaving church on Feb 14 1993. I lost my 7 year old sister,Stormi Dickson and was very badly injured. Bruce was there constantly and went so far above and beyond anything I could've imagined. He had a profound affect on my whole life and to this day I think about him almost daily. He is no longer there but the church has not changed. I love that church and still call it home even though I live in hot springs Arkansas now and my mother has moved from the area,so Idon't get to visit. It will always be in my heart and I hope to move home in the future and resume regular attendance. If any of the people that went to that church back then read this,I love you all. My mother was also a member and is pictured below and my daughter,Stormi Funderburk,named after my sister is pictured in her cap and gown for graduation.
