Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. From the first time we went several of the people remembered our names. The pastor greeted us at the door. Most importantly he preaches from the Bible and the Spirit of the Lord is present.

We love this church! It’s a family oriented body of believers- they care & they’re genuine. Plus, the Pastors Tony & Tammy Holder are so amazing! Anointed, positive, always encouraging, unafraid to be honest with us too- all beneficial qualities. Children are a priority here- they’re loved, honored, taught God’s love & His Word. We began attending New Life LUFKIN Church on the Rock 2 years ago, after moving here from Austin, TX- & have no intention of leaving. We believe in being rooted & grounded & being involved in the Kingdom! LETS GO!!!

Absolutely love this church! The moment I walked in, I felt like I was at home! The people are SO friendly! And they have a coffee bar! The worship music is loud, amazing and intense with a full band! The pastor speaks with such conviction, it's like he is speaking to each individual as if he prepared his sermon specifically for you! And they have amazing children's activities and classes and groups!

On the front side you would feel impressed with the church, but don't be deceived. The pastors wife owns two daycares. I was up front with her about my concerns about my son's issues. I told her I was working on getting him help. I also explained my situation about running from my abusive ex and how we had just uprooted our whole life. My sons previous daycare never once called me to pick him up. Tammy holders facility called me once every week most weeks twice to get him. When I asked to meet with her she was to busy and I asked to switch him teachers. She shut me down. I asked my sister to help me talk to her a month later when this was still a problem again she was to busy and praising her teachers and spoke of my son's teacher as being the most patient and most experienced teacher she has. Well my neighbor whom is this teachers cousin said this teacher has no patience. Add the fact this teachers mother had been in the hospital in bad condition and I know she was in no mood to deal with 15 3 year olds. This woman kicked my son out because I wanted to meet and discuss options. Never even gave me the chance or worked with my son. That's their position, but being a woman of Christ and a preacher wife at that....if that's what Christianity looks like I want no parts of it.

I was there on a Wednesday night and was hoping for a good message. I don't remember much more than the pastor talking about his hopes for the church and little else. I was disappointed in little Bible preaching I am a retired pastor myself and should have known better than to be so critical of the service saying what I said. My mother raised me better. I apologize 😔for being so negative and offensive. I know GOD is bigger than what I left my impression of his ability to direct HIS children and chosen pastors and servants. I will try my best to think before I speak when I do it again.

I enjoyed the worship service, the whole pastor's family came and greeted us. I would visit this church again. They have a great reception area with a coffee shop in the church. My son had a very good time in the children's nursery area.

Sunday sermon, Stop crying and cry out really spoke to my heart. Pastor Holder and wife Tammy are very loving leaders as well as the congregation. I love ❤️ this church . 5-5-2023

Love this church and family. You always feel so welcome here and the worship is like a rock concert which is awesome!! Plaster Tony Holder and Tammy Holder are amazing come check it out!!

It was so fun they were so friendly Wednesday is their big youth night and one thing I love about the church is they don't push off Christianity on you they talk to you about They Don't Force It Off on you and on Wednesdays they have separate services from Youth and adults but on Sundays y'all just best church ever they've treated me so kindly and politely my first time I went there I was so happy and they don't just read out of one Bible they read out of numerous ones and I love it so much the service there was so amazing

Would not recommend very money hungry. There values are not directed at being very inclusive and are only interested in making money. They make it unaffordable to participate and deny infants/toddlers the use of sippy cups and they deny athletes water.
