  I just attended Sabbath Service May 23, 2026. My first impression was of worldly thoughts because the few members that were there doing sound checks and choir rehearsals didn’t welcome or greet me and was extremely stand offish. And I was about to leave because of it. Nevertheless, I decided to stay a while longer. The pastor Mike and his wife/family arrived. Both took time to greet me and both welcomed me to their church. The sermon was on Psalms 124. It was preached by Pastor Mike in away that every age group could relate and follow along. I was impressed with the sermon, the music, and all over services. If you are looking for a Bible Based Sabbath Keeping church plan a visit. Arrive closer to start time. You will be refreshed. 🤩 I love you and God loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it 😉

  I enjoy the small celebrate recovery groups that meet on Thursday nights. I look forward to getting to know the ladies I have met there more. If you are looking for a safe place to help with your hurts, habits, and hang up come check them out on Thursday nights at 6:30pm-9:00pm.

  Pastor Caruthers and his wife, Gena are excellent ministers. I appreciate that they are straight to the point, it took me by pleasant surprise. I was raised Christian but I have learned more in these last two weeks than I ever knew. It is always nerve wrecking walking into a church for the first time because even churches within the same denomination can be vastly different... the moment I set foot through the doors, members were already treating me like family. I cannot help but leave each time with a smile. I particularly love that this church has a young adults class for 18-29 with pastor Josh Nino who is also a fantastic mentor. I intend to stay with Calvary for as long as I live in this city!
