I'm USAF, female, and a minority and feel very welcomed here. I have orders in a month and it makes me sad to be leaving such a good church. I've only been attending for the past 6 months and I wish I would've found New Hope sooner. The presence of God is welcomed here!

Definitely not a church I’d return to. People there are rude, stuck up and stand offish. Also, hardly any minorities.

This is my home, my home church. I believe Jesus intimately dwells here at New Hope and the Pastor are Holy Spirit Guided and aren't just pastors they are Shepards of their flock. They pour into their brother n sisters n Christ! My life has been change being a family member of New Hope Church. They sincerely want to show the love of Jesus thru their discipleship to others who truly seek Jesus! You will certainly find Jesus there

Good word based preaching and great praise and worship. The congregation was friendly enough. However your meet and greet was just taking names down and getting a goody bag. I didn't want that, I wanted to make a connection, I felt like I was at best tolerated or humored and expected to come again. I wanted to meet a human being (the church) and not a human doing (the church). I'm no big shot, I get that but I have had the opportunity in the past to connect some big ministries together. You only get one chance to make a first impression. Today you left me, feeling cold, unwanted and at best tolerated.

Warm and friendly atmosphere. You can feel the spirit of God when gathering together. There is a feeling of belonging. No one is pushy or acts better than anyone.

I have had so much spiritual growth at New Hope in the one year I resided in Abilene. Everyone from the greeter at the door to the Pastoral Staff at the church makes you feel so welcome. The connect classes here will teach you so much as well as get you connected with the body of the church. The staff in the kids ministry are so friendly and lovable. My son and I loved coming to church. The care ministers made the experience even more personable. This is definitely a second family to me.

I am visiting from N.J., and went today to check it out. I'm thinking of moving here to be near my son and wife. I need not look any further. The worship team was awesome. The Pastor's message was great and I'm not easy to impress. If you are searching then do yourself a favor and go. Loved it and everyone I met!

Went for their Freedom Weekend. It was PHENOMENAL! Everyone was very kind, welcoming and open. The topics covered were REAL stuff that real people battle. The Spirit is all over this place and the workers are anointed. The food they served for the event was good and there was plenty of it. This was a life changing weekend for us. Definitely going back regularly to get connected to a church body again.

During one of the most frightening situations we have gone through with an unexpected diagnose of cancer, our new hope family covered us with lots of prayers and hugs and carried us through this season. We did not have to worry about financial situations and we knew that we were covered in prayer. Pastor Chuck is an amazing pastor and we love him so much. Thank you New Hope for being there with us during this season we went through. We are so humbled and blessed that we can now say my husband Thomas is cancer-free. Thank you Jesus

The "Birds of Prey" audio that you blast all night every night is scaring away millions of birds that were here long before you and pushing them away because...what? They inconvenience your savior? You collect enough revenue from the community, how about spend a little money and come up with a better plan. Unless you just don't respect nature, I guess.

God has always worked in this church, but God is working so much more now. He loves his children and he wants to be close as he can to them. I've been at newhopechurch since March 21st and haven't missed a Sunday service yet.

Their pre-k program is good. The coordinator is good within her bounds of what she deems is her job. Unfortunately, we had a really negative encounter with her and she was very unhelpful. We moved out of state and had no other options and she was still unwilling to mail some things of my sons that arrived the next school year. Tried to coordinate and work things out but she ghosted and was nasty. But my son had a blast there and we liked it. So not sure what happened at the end, so just be mindful of that.

Pastor Chuck delivers a clear, relevant, and anointed word from God, There is a beautiful presence of God in Worship and my teens love the Youth Ministry. They recently have a thriving "Servicio en Español" domingos a la 1:00 pm.

I moved to Abilene a few months ago, just to explore life out of the ordinary, and I attended this church which was walking distance from the house I was staying at at the time. They are a good church to go to, so if you live in Abilene and looking for a church home, you must go here.

I first attended New Hope Church on Easter Sunday (April 23rd) in 2014 2014 and was Baptized on Sunday May 18, 2014 and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CHURCH and would take ANYONE there if they wanted to attend. May God CONTINUE to Bless my new home church NEW HOPE. <3

It's a good church until you miss due to illness then you'll get a {I'm sorry we're growing so much} apology, then go again get sick miss same ole. What happened to the Church the pastor stayed in touch with it's flock I know people who go to way bigger churches and they stay in touch. The pator's parents are great, to bad it didn't pass down .

New Hope and Abilene became my new home after my life was turned upside down during the pandemic. If you are looking for a church that will challenge you to grow in your faith and walk out that challenge with you, New Hope is where you want to be!
