I met Pastor Jake at a Celina Chamber of Commerce event, and that introduction led my wife and me to visit New City. Before that day, we had never set foot in a Presbyterian church—but it’s been “home” for several years now. What stands out most is that biblical truth is clearly and faithfully taught from the pulpit. It’s a small congregation, which makes it easy to get to know people. Everyone is welcoming, loving, and non-judgmental. It’s truly a blessing to have a place you can grow in your faith and share life together with your family in Christ.

My family and I first came to New City a little over a year ago. We intended to simply visit, due to us living in McKinney and the church being in Celina, but we unanimously decided we HAD to return. We were looking for a PCA church and loved the opportunities that came with this church being a church plant. We were able to plug into community quickly and find opportunities to serve. Pastor Jake is an incredible leader and preacher and we are so grateful to sit each week under his teaching. He goes through the Bible each week and delivers rich sermons that point us to Christ. As a family, it's truly the highlight of our week to gather together with our church family to worship, fellowship, serve, and learn.

I absolutely LOVE New City. I am a student in high school and attend with my family each week, and I'm so thankful for how much I've grown in my faith and knowledge of God through Pastor Jake's preaching. I love the worship and the size of the church makes it feel like a family.
