  This place is like no other I have ever experienced. I walked in on a night they where having a men's retreat and i knew I belonged I didnt meet not one stranger. This past year I had an brain aneurysm they gave me a 12% chance to make it well 10 months later I walk in to N.B. I have always asked God, for a sign, what happened that night, I felt a since of peace i felt safe 🙏 I felt i belonged if I could give it 100 stars I would. I truly believe God answered and sent me my sign!

  Every year in February, New Beginnings hosts the Night to Shine prom event for individuals with special needs and everyone has treated me very well throughout the years!! May God bless everyone at NB for years to come!!

  Our only son started coming to NB every Friday morning during his Junior High and then High School years. Ms. Debbie from the Feed and Seed student program from NB, she invited my son every summer for camp. Almost 11 years ago, my husband and I decided to visit NB, and we were blown away! We felt at home since the first day, we felt God's presence during the service. Previously, we were members for 6 years of a Hispanic Church, we were new to Longview, new to everything! In all these years at NB, we had never felt "Hispanics" or any different. We have been loved, cared for in the different stages of our spiritual growth. My husband had learned so much English, and we have been spiritually blessed in all aspects of our lives. I love NB Mission: "People Connecting People to Jesus and His Ever-Restoring Life, where We Live, Work, and Play." I have participated in several Mission trips with NB, and every time God's presence is with us! I have seen the Holy Spirit opening hearts, as we shared the gospel on each visit. It is beautiful to see our HS students shared Jesus and to hear their testimonies after a long day of serving! I am always in awe to see how the Lord will surprise each of us during every mission trip! God has always blessed us beyond our own expectations!

  As a 20-year-old college student, I can honestly say New Beginnings Baptist Church has become my home away from home. The people are super welcoming and have given me a solid community of friends who push me closer to Jesus. I love how the church really invests in students. Whether it's through worship, life groups, college events, there’s always a way to get connected and grow. The pastors and leaders genuinely care about young adults, and it shows in how they pour into us both spiritually and personally. If you’re in college and searching for a place where you’ll be encouraged, challenged, and surrounded by people who love Jesus, NB is the place to be!

  New Beginnings has been our church home for over 25 years! Pastor Todd Kaunitz preaches Gospel-Centered, straight forward, Biblical truth that we all desperately need! From the moment you pull onto the parking lot at NB you will know that there is something different about it! God is moving powerfully there and the presence of the Holy Spirit is overwhelmingly evident! You will also find a great place of community, amazing worship and outstanding ministries for children and students!

  God is moving at this church! You can feel His presence in the worship and hear His truth in the messages. The people are so welcoming, the leadership is genuine, and it’s a place where lives are being changed. You can also find genuine community here, and I encourage you to get involved!   I couldn’t ask for a better experience than what I’ve found at New Beginnings Baptist Church. The community I’ve grown to know and do life with is exactly what I had been praying for, and I cannot stop giving thanks for it. The pastors faithfully preach straight from the Word, and every Sunday and Wednesday, the presence of the Lord is undeniable in that place. One of the most life-changing rhythms for me has been joining together in corporate prayer every Wednesday night at The Prayer—it has truly been the most significant and transformative shift in my walk with Christ.

  My family and I have attended New Beginnings since 2022 and it has been an answer to so many prayers! Prayers for sound Biblical teaching and leaders that prioritize the presence of God and obeying Him first - a children's ministry that is equipping our children in the faith and showing them practical ways to walk it out daily - a community of believers that want to do life with you - and so many tools, resources, and opportunities to serve the Lord and use our gifts for His glory. We are so thankful the Lord brought us to New Beginnings!
