When this church held a memorial for a family member of mine, a slideshow was provided that played 3 songs that were near and dear to her and her son. This church gave a horrible memorial for her. The pastor talked about himself for 40 minutes, almost causing several family members to leave the room, and when it came time to play the memorial slideshow, we discovered that the pastor had removed all music, sped up the slideshow from 15 minutes to 5 minutes, and he picked his own song. What could have been a nice closure for our family is tarnished by the service provided by this church. When the pastor was confronted as to why the slideshow changed, he said it was a call he made. He had my phone number and email, and chose to make this service about him. What a selfish church. If I could give zero stars I would

My first time visting Midland First Assembly of God and I'll definitely be going back to vist,but if i ever move to midland this will become my CHURCH!! The worship invited The move of The Holy Spirit!! The move of God is powerful and what an amazing Word given by an amzaing Pastor!!(Pastor Hanks) The congregation was what Jesus would expect as they love on me just as if i where family which i am family since we're washed by The Blood of the Lamb!! God continue to use this mighty Church of God!! Cant wait to be back very soon!!
