This is a great, Bible preaching, independent Baptist church I have been attending regularly for over 18 years. Both my husband and I have been saved and Baptized here. The church recently celebrated 100 years of serving this area. Visitors will feel the welcoming spirit of our congregation. We are blessed with a pastor who brings the truth of the Bible alive for us. Young families will want to bring their children and youth to learn about Jesus in our growing youth department. We give out free Bibles Tuesdays from 5 to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 to 12 am. Check us out on Facebook and Sermon Audio. We are a church growing in new members! We all need the true word of God and that is what is preached. Come visit us.

This church is truly Bible-centered and committed to preaching God's Word. The sermons are firmly grounded in Scripture, and the teaching stays true to biblical principles. One thing I especially appreciate is how they guide you through the Bible reading process, making it easier to understand and apply God's Word to everyday life. This church is awesome. Pastor Bujak is a man of faith and a GREAT Pastor. In this church you will be taught straight from The Bible and, they don't add, they don't take away from it. If you're interested in hearing the truth, this is your church. Great fellowship and awesome friendly folks.

This church I spoke with Ms Sherry was rude and they don’t help people in the community they only care about there members so called Gods people is so fake I needed assistance and they can’t or won’t help me passing out bibles is a fake cover up supposed to be doing Gods work

Love everything about this church from all the Sunday school classes, to song service, and the preaching. It is not just a common church that only meets one time on Sunday morning, and that's it, but they have Sunday evening and Wednesday night services. The pastor is very caring and loving. The whole church is very friendly. They offer many different ministry's something every one can serve the Lord in. If you are looking for a good Independent Fundamental Baptist Church this is the place to go.

We have been members of MBC for nearly 8 years. There is a focus on family and family values. The Bible is the text for all the teaching and preaching rather than the ideas of men. I love our lady's fellowship meetings. We have a great time together in the Bible and each other's company. Every September we sponsor a lady's one day retreat when we invite lady's groups from other churches to come spend the day with us. It is always a great time with the Lord and ladies from other Baptist churches.

As missionaries supported by this church, we have many close friends here. They have a great vision and burden for missions all across the world and have sent many of their own members to the foreign field to serve. We have been present for a number of services and always find the preaching very practical, helpful and biblical. Metropolitan Baptist Church is a wonderful place to worship. My family and I have had the pleasure of not only worshiping at Metropolitan, but also in serving in various ways for over 15 years. I'm so blessed to be the Music Director, but I also have the privilege to teach Sunday School, Children's Church, and serve in other ways. Metropolitan Baptist is an Independent Baptist Church that teaches Sound Doctrine and has a heavy emphasis on Global Missions and Bible Preaching. Pastor Turner is a man of integrity who preaches the Word of God faithfully and fervently. I’ve visited this church for one morning and evening service, and the preaching is sound as I’ve tested it with the Scripture. The people were also great as they welcomed me with open arms, as was the Pastor James Turner. I think good hospitality says a lot about the church because it’s one of the qualifications about being a Bishop—1Ti 3:2  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; I definitely look forward to visiting again, should the Lord allow me to!

I love the warm welcoming feel at Metropolitan Baptist Church. The preaching is straight from the BIBLE (KJV) and a lot of knowledge here about God's word. Family oriented, Sunday school classrooms for all ages/groups. Love it! Been at Metropolitan for 2.5 yrs as of today. If you don't want to come by right away, watch the live stream on the website every Sunday AM and PM service. Let God lead you and your family.

Love this church so much. Good Christian people in a good Christian environment. The preaching has good biblical principles and the church has an incredible health addictions program for struggling addicts. If you are looking for an independent baptist church Metropolitan Baptist is the place to go.

Called today and spoke with michelle and was told to call other church's to help my family during these cold days that they could not help my family with anything when I asked her if thats what she would tell the lord she said no my family will no longer be attending or apart of this church

This is the church we are attending since 2013 and are blessed to be a part of a church where preaching is powerful and church family is loving and caring. There are multiple opportunities to serve and study the Bible on a deep level. Wonderful Pastor who loves the Lord.

There are many great things I can say about this church. I just don't know where to start. I believe one would be hardpressed to find a more friendly church. We are a KJV Bible believing family. This has the best Christian's and message, I am a Seventh Day Adventist Christian now and I am very aware that God has yet many to come to knowledge of the Beast and it's mark, yet the Christians who attend this church are geniune and in the Battle of the Great Controversy are of the geniune faith that will make them part of the remnant church in the next two years. I absolutely love the pastors here and how they have deligated trust to so many good loving great people hungry for God. This is a very live church and soul winning is it's priority, I know I go to the meetings at H.O.P.E Recovery group and they are by far the best in United States, so please come in and join this body of believers, I really think highly of these very true members's of Christ's body and am ever reminded that Christ has many sheep in other folds, and this fold is lead by Christ Jesus. I was recently asked, have you found a church you like? Answer, Well i know there is one i miss and love. This was where I found the value in bible study as a youth. My Grandparents Hollie and Macil Dunn were familiar members of this wonderful congregation for many years. This is a place for me personally that created so many lovely childhood memories as well.
