I like that most people here are just themselves. I know its a natural part of our human nature to put our best representation up front but its refreshing to see people just be honest about their struggles and to share that they are still flawed and have not achieved this unattainable perfection that some people expect christians to have achieved. It begins with the pastors of this church sharing in humility who they were before Jesus changed their hearts and their testimonys always point to Jesus being the one who does what we can never do. I love that Jubal shares with us like family and friends share with eachother, and he is so real with us that he sometimes just shares what wouldnt be considered "proper" by most religous people today, lol. . I love that we dont have to be sitting in his living room to feel like he is letting us see him as a person with his real life ,day to day struggles that God is helping him overcome, that shows that he knows Jesus is perfection, not him. The people serving are always very friendly and welcoming, so much so that they are always breaking down walls that i put up to keep people out , Its a reminder to me that its my choice everyday to let people in and not shut everyone out. i need that reminder often. The entire community is always doing the best to make everyone feel welcome . I invite everyone i know to this church with "if you dont have 'church clothes' ,come to this church, you dont "fit in, come to this church, you dont do "people" well, come to this church, you dont like "religioun", come to this church, you" have questions about it all " , come to this church, "hooked on drugs or alcohol" and cant promise you will be sober for church service, come to this church,, you are "not the church type", come to this church. Its not a community that encourages best costumes , its people who have had an encounter with Jesus and have not changed but have been changed , you will know it when you meet them , not by the way they are dressed , or the way they speak, its by the way they love others and dont judge people, share who they were without any shame at all, are boastful about what an amazing God he is that Jesus has done such an impossible thing to have changed them . Its like coming home, for me anyway. You definitely should come visit , and just come as you are. Thats the Only requirement, come as you are .

Its great at one time my whole family and occasionally some friends would attend. Since then Alot has changed. At times I still go alone and then fell off. I feel the holy spirit telling me to go today so I'll be there today.

Been going there for about 10 months. I was at the outcry for 9 months of it. Never liked big crowds. But I make myself go and it seems to be working on my anxiety issues. They keep showing me love every time I go. I'm happy to be part of Metanoya. Pastor Freddie would be proud.

Not too bad of a venue, kind of feels like you are at a real concert, especially when the music starts. It is ok, the restrooms are not too bad either and the seating isn't bad either.

The vibe feels better than the days of Victory. The background Christian music of various genres before the service was cool. The band that played during the service was good and the vocals from the singer was amazing. Keep up the good work guys.

If you are lost in your addiction or in recovery and is seeking for our father's love, this is the church where you will feel his arms wrapped around you. It did for me a year and a half ago in my addiction, and today being 75 days clean. I've been to this church just a few times in my addiction and today is my first in recovery. That comfort being in there is still the same. God not dead but he is good.

First time. Lovely people, treats such as cookies and coffee and juice. Great, authentic message. Laughed more than once. True to the Word of God, giving full glory to God. My kinda worship.

This was my first time ever attending Mentanoya church. I was so pleased with the pastor today. He was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming as I walked in and very friendly. I would definitely recommend everyone to attend the service and you will walk out of the church so relaxed and a load of your back. I will definitely attend the service again. Thank you pastor for the service you gave this afternoon ♥️🙏🙌

We just started going to this church. I'm not big on the dancing and worship, but my ol lady is. Everyone is friendly of course, and even though it's not my style since I'm catholic, I enjoy it because they don't lecture about giving like some Christians churches do, once in a while they will. but our first visit there, they just started passing the donation pales around. I also enjoy it because their lessons are good, and that's all this church is about, teaching God's love. not trying to make a certain type of religion, just help you find your relationship with God.

Thought it was a good godly home. Until my family was escorted out by a cop because I had my 1 1/2 year old daughter in my arms asleep! My spouse kept getting interrupted while praying by people with the church because they wanted us to leave do to the fact that we had our daughter who again was asleep the whole time ! This church is a joke ! The pastor has his son in several services so I guess that makes his child more important than anyone else's child! Was a horrible feeling to be escorted out because I had my daughter with me!

The pastor are there for profit, they have people cleaning their personal home for their own gain, cooking for them and maintaining their lawns. The pastor separates families and keeps them apart. This is a cult do not get sucked in by the big production they show.

My family loves this church. Felt welcomed from the very first day we stepped in and cherish all the fellowships we’ve made since. I’ve been recommending anyone with ears to come worship god here.

Been going to this church since I was born,I'm 22 now and now a military wife, not there anymore but still see the livestream and have been to 2 other states and have yet to find a church as loving,as encouraging and thoughtful then this very church. Their doors are open 247,and they're always very sweet and courteous. God is love and that's all the preach there.! Their motto is, "the perfect church for the people who aren't." ♡ reccomend 100%

If you're just looking for an online ministry with great sermons - their Sun & Wed services are awesome. I was hoping to have found my church but after having 6 months of donations deducted automatically from my bank account through their donation app and never getting a "welcome" or "hello" message I am looking for another church. I tried posting comments during FB service to say hello but the "regulars" only speak to each other. I am Caucasian and it's a predominantly Hispanic church. As things are opening back up, after COVID, I guess I need to look elsewhere to find a community where I can serve & belong. The pastors are great though, I wish I would have been welcomed and fit in.

Been going here to my church for over 15 years. Love it and won't go anywhere else. If you had a bad experience in this church, then you must be perfect and the world never hurt your feelings. Stick to works right. 9 millimeter to the back of my head for everything I did to all kinds of people in this world. I wasn't hooked on drugs, gangs or prostitution. My sin was pride. Sound familiar, satan had pride too. And I deserved to die 100% without a doubt for everything I did. But one day, I remember what I read when I was at the bexar county jail from the outcry in the barrio book. Right when you die, your life does flash before your eyes. And all I can do was remember that day, that if Jesus can save a drug addict like pastor Freddie, then He can save a pride filled, good for nothing, full of myself, messed up person like me. And He did! It was when i cried out to the name i had only heard once, Jesus! 16 years later I'm still here thank you Jesus. This church is for you that's all messed up, if your perfect and got your feelings hurt when you visited then this church IS for you. Hell isn't going to care if your feelings get hurt. So it's not about church, its a sin problem. Can you tell me why I'm still alive when I should have died? Then Jesus loves you too and so does this church. We don't want to be in church because then the church will really know who you are and that's pride. I know I died from it. Now I live to Christ. Give Jesus a try, not church. I pray you call on the name of Jesus. Real men only bow to true loyalty and Jesus is worth dying for, He's loyal till the end. I should know. I've been dead for 15 years now Christ lives in me. You've been reading this message for you.

Pastor Jubal Garcia and all members of the Metanoya Church, Thank you so kindly for sharing your prayers with my family members in Israel. My nephew, Ari Kedem and niece, Rina Kedem and their families are currently living in bomb shelters during this devastating war with Hamas and are in need of all our prayers.
