I’ve been a member of Messiah for years and I’m so grateful for this congregation. This church is filled with loving people who care for each other and the Community we are part of. Messiah Lutheran Church (ELCA) truly embodies a welcoming haven for all. Their community, rich in diversity, radiates a warm inclusivity that makes everyone feel at home, regardless of their background. The congregation’s spirit of unity and acceptance is a testimony to their strong commitment to the teachings of love and respect in the Bible. The church also actively engages in various outreach programs, reinforcing their mission to serve. If you’re seeking a spiritual home that values diversity and fosters a strong sense of community, I cannot recommend Messiah Lutheran Church highly enough.

Marvelous congregation and folks! Pastor and his wife are very kind and down to earth. All serve the community and one another with love and inclusion for every individual. Holy Communion is open to everyone. My only regret is my husband and I wish we'd found this church sooner.

The best welcoming fellowship by far. Our family has always enjoyed the hearing the word of God from Pastor Franz. He has a gift when it comes to his sermons. The church still has the wonderful “smaller church appeal”, which means no one gets forgotten. You should give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I'm the pastor at Messiah so I'm sure I'm a bit biased but I want to say that our Messiah community is a wonderful group of folks who seek to serve God and all humanity with joy and faithfulness. We strive to be an inclusive congregation, embracing the marvelous diversity of those who desire to follow in the path of love shown by Jesus. It may be that you would find here good companions on the pilgrimage of your life.

I relocated to Weatherford less than a year ago and was blessed to find this caring congregation. Messiah is a great place to worship, become involved and always, always feel welcome.
