They are not very welcoming... and your child can't even make a sound in there because they are ready to kick you out. There were several other children making noises over and over right next to us I say there were about an additional 6 children to the right of us. The lady that came over twice did not once go up to them at all to have them leave. When we were leaving they were glad to open the door to let us out. I understand people are listening to the service, but my daughter just asked for something and wanted to color from a sheet they brought over to my 5 year old and she wanted it after they gave it to him and not one to my daughter, Which makes sense, she is 2. The lady said "they are recording" well then why are you not going and telling the other families that as well, either way the devil didn't win today. We still leave with god in our heart.. and will find a place that doesn't just worry about their image and welcomes families in all circumstances, my child was not yelling, she was just a bit upset in the moment which can happen from a 2 year old. I guess they just don't want a sound from children or ones they don't know.. because nothing was said to the other families. This is not the church for us.. we will not be returning!

I grew up here at Bethesda (nowercy Church) love that we are a giving church to Missionaries. The teachings are straight up Bible convecting. Once you get to know people you will feel right at home, but of course you go where Holy Spirit leads. My prayer is that you will make Mercy Church your home church and grow in your spiritual walk with us. Blessings

The message was unclear and the leaders are uneducated about laws regarding breastfeeding mothers. My wife was comfortably and confidently feeding our child in the back row of the worship center and was told to cover up unlawfully. Will not return.

I moved away from the southside about 4 years ago and tried attending another very big church, which I also liked, however the Spirit kept prompting my family and I to return to Mercy Church. The Spiritual experiences I have had at this church because of Pastor Robert's preaching keep me going back. Another reason is because when we are desperate for answers to problems we face, and we need our eyes to be open and our ears to hear I know it is not coincidence, but Pastor Robert ends up preaching a sermon by which Jesus speaks to us directly and helps us understand why we have to go through certain trials. I have experienced this soooo many times. God Bless the whole Mercy Church family!

Was our first time, we usually drive 45 minutes to attend a church we were attending before moving. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel at home. The church vibe felt off, and when I was told to cover up breastfeeding my daughter it confirmed I would not be returning.

I love attending Mercy church. It's very convenient from where I live and I love that there is a late service on Sundays and I can sleep in on that day so it works out perfect for me. I plan on getting baptized at this church. I can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and I always get fed with the word every time I leave from there. It's a wonderful feeling. God bless you all with peace and love.

This isn’t just a church — this is a stronghold-breaker. A place where darkness doesn’t feel welcome and truth hits you right in the chest. At Mercy Church San Antonio, fear has no lease and baggage doesn’t get to stay. Whatever tries to attach itself to people — oppression, deception, torment, confusion — it loses its grip here. Call it what you want, but anything that stands against God doesn’t survive in this place. This is where people get saved, delivered, and restored — not with hype, but with real authority, real worship, and real love. You don’t walk out the same way you walked in. Period. If you’re carrying something heavy, something dark, something that refuses to let go — this is the place to drop it. Freedom is real here, and the peace afterward is unreal. Come with an open heart. God will meet you here and bless you beyond what you thought was possible.

Awesome place to get rooted, has something for all your family members, Tuesday nights is like family night ,adults in sanctuary, kids go to class in kids area, and teens have youth night. The pastors of Mercy church grew up there, so they are well known ,live what they teach. Church is spirit filled and is felt when you come in. You will always be greeted at the door and a welcoming smile. It's worth going, you may find it's what you been missing.
