Wanted to find out more about the church’s believes so I decided to go with a friend. Was welcomed at the door by the pastor of the church who shared some information with us. He invited us to stay for the service that was after Sabbath School and then to join them for a lunch. We got a lot of welcomes and smiles and after lunch we got to speak with the pastor and his wife for more than 2 hours. I am thankful for all the information and discussions that was done with patience and love. They prayed with us and invited us to visit any time.

To be fair I only been there once. I was not properly welcome. I was not sure it I was in the right place. There was not a Sabbath school program. The church was kinda dark and there were some people tunning their instruments. I was there by 9:30 and nothing was going on. After a while they started discussing a book. Since I was a visitor I had no clue about the discussion. Nobody asked me if had a book o even share the book w me. Then they divided for class and again I was lost because I didn't know where to go. Finally I found a class. The Sabbath school class was dynamic. The teacher did a good job. I did enjoyed lunch and a few people say hi. One star is for the lunch and the other for the Sabbath school teacher.

I love McKinney Seventh day Adventist church. It is a home and a family church where everyone shows love and helps one another. One gets lost and unnoticed in mega churches. But this church is home

Did not feel welcome. As a first time guest no one came and said hello.

went a couple of times and we were never acknowledged as guest, shown around or anything, We were lost the couple of times we went there and finally decided to try other churches.
