I attended this church during one of the darkest times in my life. I even tried to take my own life in the sanctuary, and instead of receiving compassion and long-term support, I often felt judged and avoided. When I recently reached out to come back, I asked kindly if anyone from the church could help give me a ride. I was ignored and even blocked by people I once thought cared for me — including individuals like Rick and Nerlyn, who knew my past and what I went through. I’m not writing this to attack anyone, but because no one should feel unwanted or dismissed in a place that preaches grace. If a church can’t show mercy to the broken, then it needs to look deeply at what it truly stands for. I still believe in forgiveness — but I also believe in honesty. People deserve to know that not every church that preaches love practices it when it matters most.

The people are so welcoming here. The congregation is small. It is like a family gathering. I really enjoy coming here. I also like that the truth is presented from the pulpit. The sermons are convicting and are pointed to Jesus.
