  Probably the safest place I have found to explore my faith journey. I have attended services at a variety of different Faith followings and different churches and venues. This has been the most inclusive educated and informed church that have been a part of thankfully. I love that they are a strong music lead service. I've been singing with the choir here for over 5 or 6 years now, and looking forward to leadership within the church. Love to the church and people so much.

  This church is the most welcoming community and you feel right at home the moment you walk in! The congregation is committed to doing good work in their community and beyond. No matter how you walk through this world Madison Square will be there to support you along your path.

  If you're looking for ground zero for Progressive Christianity in San Antonio Madison Square is your church. They even welcome heathens like me. Wonderful music, open and affirming congregation, and and an enlightened, intelligent new pastor, make make for an experience that I look forward to each week. Did I mention that I'm a heathen?

  Hands down one of the most loving and accepting congregations that I have ever been in. Sunday worship services are full of positive energy and good vibrations as brothers and sisters come together to share in the all encompassing compassionate love of Christ. I can always count on meeting genuine down to earth people who fill these rooms for all sorts of occassions. A venue for several meetings each evening that focus on recovery from various forms of chemical dependency. These groups meet the whole week through. Would encourage anyone considering joining a house of worship to come and see for yourselves what Madison Square has to offer.

  Love this church & community! The people are warm and welcoming, the choir & music move my heart & spirit, and the message is always relevant, scripture based, and makes me think! Pastors Bart Roush and Virginia Courtney incorporate thoughtful questions in their sermons, tie to current events & life and I always leave feeling grounded, inspired & ready to begin my week. The icing on the cake for me is the music ministry! Paul Hughes, Choir Director & Mark Marty, Organist Extraordinare are MSQPC’s Dynamic Duo of Music Ministry & bring out the best In a small but might voiced choir ensemble and produce the most joyful and moving music and programs!   Wonderful and inspiring worship service, warm and friendly welcome, a More Light Presbyterian Church welcoming everyone. MSQPC is a progressive congregation of active members seeking both a deeper understanding of the faith and ways to bring justice for all to downtown San Antonio. The music program is wonderful and features one of the best organs in town and a lovely choir. The Child Development Center is one of the most advanced in San Antonio for infants six weeks old through age five. Adult classes are on Sunday at 9:30 AM; Worship at 10:50 AM. The building is an historical site built in the 1800s next to Madison Square Park. I loved worshiping there!
