  I first walked into Lydia's House for a summer book club over 5 years ago, and I felt immediately at home. Coffee & Jesus on Friday mornings is my favorite time of the week to worship, listen to God, and discuss what we are learning. Lydia's House is a life-giving place to meet with God and get to know other women. Through weekly Bible studies, Coffee & Jesus, and summer book club I have made so many friends. I've also received personal inner healing prayer which has given me freedom from past hurts. If you're looking for a place to seek Jesus in a welcoming community, I hope you will come join us!

  I found Lydia’s House in 2018, shortly after losing my husband and what a gift it has been. I have made some beautiful friendships with women who enjoy coming together to worship and study the word of God. Like the Bereans we’re in love with the truth. They would seek answers by looking into the word of God. They searched for the truth daily by reading & studying the Scriptures. I’ve been a Christian for many years and it’s not easy to find balanced teaching. I find Anne to be dedicated to the Lord and His word. I feel truly blessed to have found Lydia’s House here in Brenham. A place of worship and fellowship with Christ at the center.

  I have been enjoying Lydia's House for about eight years. As a military spouse who moved often, one of the first connections I make in a community is a Women's Bible Study. Lydia's House has been the most meaningful and impactive place I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. Every woman is special. The environment is loving, kind, patient, and truly invested in teaching the bible, and experiencing the love of Jesus. I highly recommend.
