Seriously one of the most beautiful buildings in all of North Texas. The peace and symbolism this building provides is second to none. If you’re looking for a sight to see or a fun family thing to do in Lubbock, come walk the grounds here. This building is captivating.

The Lubbock Texas Temple is a place of profound peace and spiritual inspiration. From the first moment I saw the temple’s elegant exterior, I felt the Spirit testifying of its sacredness. The beautifully landscaped grounds, combined with the temple’s majestic design, create an environment that invites prayer, reflection, and a personal encounter with God. Inside, every ordinance felt sacred and deeply personal. I felt my testimony of Jesus Christ strengthened, and I received guidance and reassurance that I carry in my heart every day. The temple reminded me of the eternal nature of God’s plan and the blessings of making and keeping sacred covenants. Leaving the Lubbock Temple, I felt spiritually renewed, uplifted, and filled with gratitude. It is a sanctuary where hearts are healed, faith is strengthened, and individuals are reminded of their divine potential.

I used to live in the Lubbock Texas temple district but I've never left a review, until now. We passed through on a road trip and stopped for my daughter to do baptisms. While there she ran into some young women she knows from the Roswell stake and was able to have a great conversation with people she already knew. My wife and I chose to do a sealing session due to having done many endowment sessions here in the past. The sealing was wonderful and we were able to accomplish far more than we had initially imagined we would. We met a wonderful couple who were in Lubbock for school & medical residency. There are always very friendly people in the Lubbock temple and I usually walk away having had a good conversation with someone I've never met before. This experience was no different. The temple workers were amazing, helpful, and understanding. I'm always impressed with Lubbock and with the simplicity of the temple, yet elegantly placed, symbolism in the Lubbock temple.

My children and I got to visit this temple during our vacation. We were passing through Lubbock and were able to stop and see it. Beautiful like other temples. As like other smaller temples, there is a Stake Center nearby that you can change in if you're travelling from afar. Just ensure it is open.
