The people are very nice. I called before I used the last of my gasoline to make sure I would be able to get some food. I had gone to a food bank the day before at the end of the day and they were very close to being out of food. My family needed more food and I needed clothes very badly. Due to a double stroke in October 2023, I lost an huge amount of weight. I have one dress that I can wear and none of my other clothes fit due to the amount of weight I lost. I am unable to walk without a walker and had just had back surgery on 7/30/24. We desperately needed food since the prior food bank was almost out of food yesterday. The prior food bank told me that I could get food from them once a month, but that I could go to another food bank since it would be a new month. Since it was a new month and we still desperately needed food, we used the last of our gas to get to this food bank. I spent almost 2 hours at the office of Love & Care food bank and they told me that I couldn’t have any services til next week. I just had surgery yesterday and wasn’t even supposed to be out of bed. We needed the help so badly that I got up and called this food bank and told them I needed food and clothes. I asked them what their requirements were and they just told me to bring ID’s for the household. After I spent all that time at Love & Care Food Bank, , they told me they could not help me because I went to another food bank yesterday. They told me I would have to come back next week. Again, they were very nice but I received no assistance. I was just in tears when I left. And we still are in desperate need.

Great place ,Great people.when all doors seemed to slam in my face these guys fed me,I got new clothes,shower,lists of all available resources,they are doing amazing things for the community if you need help come here,they might not have all your answers but they will give 110percent to help any way possible!

I love the fact that they serve breakfast and lunch cause both are always good. The only problem is the people that come to eat. Talking and cussing all loud trying to make themselves sound all tough. This is supposed to be a place of God and because of them it's sometimes anything but a house of God. What's worse is that the workers there don't say or do anything to the loud mouth. I would give it 5 stars but because of those people it's only a 4 til someone gets them under control

This organization does SO MUCH to help the community in so many different ways, and I never really heat much from them as far as asking for donations back. Any time I've ever dealt with anyone here they've always been super nice, very friendly, and very helpful. Thanks you guys!

These people really do a great job helping families in need. They accept food donations including frozen meats. They provide hundreds of meals every week for the at risk population here in Taylor County. If you have some extra time, miney, food or clothes and you want your donation to really make an impact this is the place.

A wonderful non-profit organization that reaches out to the general public, including homeless ppl, with feeding them, clothing items, & an assortment of other assistance. I think the only thing this organization ask in return for their help is to be open-minded giving God (Holy Spirit) the chance to move on your heart. I don't frequent this establishment very often, but when I have I've noticed the place to be well organized & clean with smiling christian ppl to greet/welcome ppl in. In my opinion, I feel more cities need a place like this to help out the public. I definitely recommend Love & Care Ministries to friends & the general public needing assistance.

I went for glasses assistance and was second in line at 6:30 am. They usually take three but for some reason were only doing two this month. The man with the third girl allowed her the slot because he "already told" her she could have them. I tried to speak reasonably to them about my position bin line and they said too bad and made me leave.

Love and Care Ministries is a wonderful collection of resources for the less fortunate. To see smiles on the faces of these men and women is a gift on it's own. To be a part of something that gives to those who aren't able to provide everything for themselves is so aweosme. What a great and charitable organization.
